Just putting my 2c in:

I'm a software dev and we also have a "code freeze" timeframe. I realize ours are probably less restrictive than NRS' but we let slip some additions into this time frame quite often (we try to avoid it though).

Jury is still out for me.

When the game was first announced, I wasn't too interested. The last couple months, seeing new videos and other things have kinda hyped it up more for me.

But the demo def. didn't sell it for me. So I'm still meh about it.

For me, I would of rather seen NRS put more attention into MK9 over the years, more DLC, more patches, etc. Instead of them making this, but shit happens.

Get your guns on. Sheriff is back.
Because you're miss timing your spacing.
This. Her air mobility is great though so you should be able to get where your going. Hmm...maybe I should see if her air horizontal divepunch that travels so far can be followed up with any air normals for a long distance FU crossup...

The only thing that the demo has done is made me want the game that much more because I want training mode really really badly! If you've played a 2+ month old demo build, with only 2 game modes, 3 characters, and virtually no options... and based off of that you aren't getting the full game, you're either trying too hard not to like the game, or put WAAAY too much stock in a SEVERELY limited demo.

To be honest day 1 of the demo was really weird. The game felt so different and I didn't really enjoyed it much.
But day 2 so far was much better, I think I am getting used to it. And I definitely notice that it's a lot more complex than MK, which is good.
Exactly THIS :u. It's very weird how our perceptions change from one day to another.

I played it all day yesterday... I don't get why you're getting upset about this like I personally insulted you. I"m just saying my opinion
Don't take it personally, RYX is generally a prick when he responds to people. You have to get used to it.

Plus on block.
He didn't insult anyone and he wasn't being "a jerk", seems like you're just looking for shit to complain about, which isn't a surprise, it's something of a habit for you.

There is couple of things that i cannot get past, one of them is a huge issue with "cross ups", there is something weird about them (i am a MK player) they won't land consistently, and i hate the fact that my character can't turn around mid air while jumping over an opponent. The other one is "dashing", idk if its only me, but my character won't attack (or jump) right after a dash, i was trying to do a simple forward dash 2, and the won't come out right after dashing, but if you wait after the dash, then it will come out... God i wish i could explain myself better, i'll post a video ...
This game, despite being a retooling of MK9's engine, does not have all of the same features MK9 has. MK9's crossups are literally based on the old MKs in terms of turning around. IGAU's crossups are like Street Fighter/King of Fighters. Dashing is more like Street Fighter, here, as well, whereas MK9's dashes are cancelable by just about every action out there.

I think your issue is you expected this to be extremely similar to MK9 because it was made by the same developer.

I understand you but I wasn't talking about RYX in particular but about people like you that act like jerks. And no, I'm not "looking for shit", if you read the entire thread you will realize that.

ALWAYS an uphill battle...

Indeed, i'm having more fun now that i'm trying to see this game as a differnt game. Thanks for the comment!
