Nope. They were probably done adding stuff to the game 3-4 months ago. Anything after that they are legitimately making DLC(i.e content after the game is completed). Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
Why are you so sure?

But what about the on disk DLC from SxT? how could this not be the case? I know there is no on disk content, but what if they finished the DLC and decide to hold on the release?
Capcom are douchebags. They literally finished it 3-4 months before the game and still charged for it. Far as I know NRS did not announce DLC 3-4 months ago.

They could have made the DLC two months ago. But that is after the code is finished, so it is not on disk content. In order for it to have been on disk content(keep in mind according to hector they aren't done with the first one) they would have to pushback the game's release one or two months, which they are obviously not doing.

Well i will admit the demo has turned me off a bit, but it's mainly cause it doesn't have the things i want.

Practice mode and Black Adam:)

Well you guys have your reasons, my reason is im not in to fighting game community only fg i played was mk9 and i got used to block button. Now i cant use block with back. I always forget and cannot time it right.
Just give it time. Everyones going through this change. Be patient and play the couple of weeks it takes to learn new muscle memory.

I dont think they will release on disk content but it is not the point, what I mean is that NRS could have made the DLC 3-4 months ago (but nobody knows), and they "announced" the DLC just 1-2 months ago. At the end all what we say is just speculation, that is why I think Ravenholm could be right, nobody can prove the contrary.

I did not enjoy the demo at all, but I expected that. I have played demos from a lot of games like ME2 and Uncharted 3 among many others, and did not like these demos at all. To this day I can't remember a demo I enjoyed lol, but I have usually always loved the full games (not counting DmC). A demo is a demo, take it or leave it. With that being said I can't wait to pick up Injustice at 12:00 am at my local Walmart! :)

the Demo really turned me off to this game and I have decided not to buy it. Its just not what I thought it would be. For me, its not 'fun'.. the game and the mechanics almost feel rushed or not well thought out by NRS. They may have even focused a little too much on making this game for hardcore fighting game players... it just doesn't have that 'pick up and play' fun factor to it.

I have a feeling if NRS didn't make this game, a lot of MK players would play it for 5 minutes and say they hate it. (like DOA, TTT, capcom games, etc.)

Yes, i am not buying the game after the demo--not on day one at least. Many people already covered the points i have issue with, so i won't bother posting it.

I'll probably rent it though, see what tech is discovered after a month or so, then buy it if i like it. I'm willing to give this game a chance, however, not because i like NRS (not a big fan really), but because i fucking love DC! I really want a DC fighting game, and this is the only one we're getting in the next several years. That Capcom-esque fighting game with DC characters that tons of people, including myself, are waiting for? Ain't happenin'. I'm willing to invest in this game, but this demo did a poor ass job of convincing me. Even the damn Darstalkers demo had a training mode, c'mon muthafuckas -_-

This thread is why I refuse to play demos for fighting games and just wait until the game actually comes out. I don't want a demo that is a different build from the finished product to "taint" my view on the game and discourage me from giving the real thing a chance.

This thread just reaffirms my theory that game demos do more harm than good. I've learned from years of being let down by games that a game, especially demos/betas, will never be as good as its hyped up to be . Some people are so wrapped up in thinking "this game is going to be exactly what I want it to be" that, even if it is fantastic, it didn't achieve their unrealistic expectations- thus it's horrible.

Maybe some people really do believe that Injustice sucks, or maybe they're just blinded by their expectations. If you already made up your mind that "this game sucks" because of what you hoped it would be and off a tiny demo- then you're not really judging the game fairly and that's on you, not the game. The only thing that the demo did was scare many potential customers away.

I hated the demo for the first 5 minutes because it felt like such a strange mix of MK and SF mechanics.

..5 minutes after that I was shaking my fist at the calendar because it's still 2 weeks away!!!!!

I kind of wish there was a data sheet,

and the questions you answer are.

what fighting games you have played competitively?

And whether or not you like Injustice based on the demo.

I'm willing to bet there is a correlation.

To be honest day 1 of the demo was really weird. The game felt so different and I didn't really enjoyed it much.
But day 2 so far was much better, I think I am getting used to it. And I definitely notice that it's a lot more complex than MK, which is good.

What I mean is....The way the characters moved and the combat system was pretty much the same. The only thing they patched were infinites and the scaling damage on combos. MK9 was still kind of stiff but it was manageable. The movement in Injustice just plain sucks if this is how its going to be in the final build.
Go play the Mk demo, dash across the screen then fire up the pat h version and do the same. It radically altered how the game played needing the dash canceling into a dash. It's not impossible for them to tweak seemingly drastic things.
