Yeah going to be hype for sure. I'll need to find some people to drive down with and room with. From the looks of it ATL is about 7-8hrs from me :/

Holly freaking YEA. Man I am thirsting for a major right now! I CANNOT wait for this...I need to do my money match with dink among a few others...not to mention win the whole thing!

I've been waiting for news to drop of the next tournament to be held in Philly...

...but if such a tournament does not exist, I plan on doing everything humanly possible to go to this show.

A) Having an excuse to go on an epic roadtrip to Atlanta.
B) Getting to make up for my abysmal performances at NEC on an equally big, if not bigger stage.
And C) The possibilities of more adventures for the BOXYTOXIC SHADOWS (Hito, Toxic, we and Lady Box are gonna fucking paint the town yellow, green and black if this works out :D ), getting to see my porky pal, Pig and the patron saint of Beer Kombat, Ed - not to mention hopefully getting to meet/kombat/party with the rest of the ATL brigade I havent gotten to meet yet - im looking at you, Fly :), Redd, Batman, Beenie, Clint, etc...
A major in one of my favorite havens for MK?
It's gonna take a good bit of string-pulling and miracle-making, but if I can make it happen, it may actually manage to outhype NEC...which ain't an easy feat.
Fingers crossed...the BOX FOR FINAL ROUND campaign begins tonight!

You know...i wass talking to pig about this...but can you imagine if red, Clint and myself were able to go to NEC? Top 8 might have looked a little different...just maybe.

Can this thread get a sticky cause it's gonna be huge...I should have pig post a list of people who say they are coming.

So far VSM is planning a trip down, slips, osu, all the south east players, cat, etc...heavy hitters here in ATL baby.

Please post full list pig!

It has a map of the place on there, that's pretty legit!

This Final Round is going to be the hypest yet, bigger and better than ever. First time MK is going to be featured there as far as I know since last year it wasn't out in time for Final Round. A lot killers are going, so if you're trying to decide if you should go, you should go just to meet all these great players and to just watch and play with them.

As Pig said in his video, MK9 is going to be all day Sunday ONLY. However, you have to register before Friday. Pre-reg here: http://www.finalround.org/FRXV/registration.cfm

There will also be TONS of MK9 casuals and Money Matches on Friday and Saturday, so just because the tournament is Sunday only for MK9, you do not want to miss all the action on Friday and Saturday!

do you know if there would be any table or stand there? like you saw my stand thing i have. clearly i cant bring that on a plane, but if the tables are higher like the tables at nec are i could stand and play on that.

idk i guess my question is do you own or know of anyone that has a stand or table thats close enough to the stand i own just wondering.

Thanks, before you waste your time I should probably make sure I can go. Trying to figure out my bills and stuff first with winter brawl being so close.
