How do you all feel about in-game community events hosted by TYM

I suppose my stupid ideas could be a part of it, considering I've made a whole story mode for the game out of boredom featuring 10 missions.

Maybe an online "clan war" of heroes vs villains?

Hero and villain squads assemble, agreeing on a certain time, and maybe their matches are predetermined like Bat vs Joker, Lantern vs Sinestro etc... And the team that beats their rivals (ft3 or so) more has won that week.

This can also be insurgency vs regime.

Didn't read through the whole thread.

But I think it'd be neat if we got in like teams of 3.

and did best of 5's where each member of your team plays a part of the set until you're out of guys.

And dida touranment off this.

maybe go up to teams of 5, and you can bench 2? or something I dunno.

just a random thought.

I feel like a bit later on in the game we could have tournaments to see who the top three are at each character or top 1 or 2 depending on how many participate. You would only be able to do it for one character but could compete in all of the competitions and if you were top in multiple then you would decide which character you would be and then the runner ups for other characters would become top. From there you could have a large tournament so to speak playing first to three or five against every other character (this is more of a long term thing). At the end this would help decide which characters are top from however many points they get and if enough people wanted then the top 5 or so could win money.

Another idea would be group battles with one of each character (5 or so) between groups of characters hat make sense like heroes vs villains or the insurgency vs the regime.

This sounds like fun.

Welp...looks like NRS had the same idea in the Battle Mode! They mentioned on the stream it is NOT just a normal arcade ladder. You can do an all villain ladder, all hero ladder and even one poison ladder where you are bleeding out and losing health the entire time.

Even the arcade mode is full of awesome in this game...its beautiful.

If this feature works online, more possibilities.

I read in another thread that in an interview, Hector said there was a lot still unreleased, and some stuff having to do with online. I honestly don't find that it's too much of a stretch to think there'll be online tournaments.

I'm always down for any community-driven events. And as always, I'm willing to volunteer my time as necessary, so if you need someone to do write-ups, promotions, organization, social media posts, or photoshopped stuff, I'm good to go.

This would take hella forever, but it could be hype.

Every so often, we will have a one character tournament (Nightwing only, for example)where you can only use Nightwing. Whoever wins the tournament will have their name written down. When every character has a tournament like this, we could have a Battle Arena type tournament and have grudge matches, like the "best" Batman go against the "best" Joker, or the "best" Nightwing" go against the "best" DeathStroke.

Winner will be crowned as the "god" among us and the character he/she/it used will be forever known as broken.

Thoughts?

Oh hell yes. That'd be fun as shit to be a part of. Doing the Battle Arena right should be priority #1 for this stuff. Just because it would take a long time... might as well start ASAP after the game's been out for the time needed for enough people to get decent.

Anyway, yeah, I'd be down for any community events as long as there's some kind of threshold for how stupid a person is permitted to be out loud.
