What's new

Fillipino Champ using Sinestro, you've been warned.

He also mained Iron Fist...till he found something better and stuck with Wolverine Akuma. I'll be shocked if he doesn't at least use Flash at one major.
Well Batman doesn't lack mobility options compared to the rest of the cast quite like Iron Fist does. Poor guy doesn't even have any specials in air. Now Bats compared to Flash, Flash looks more like Iron Fist(fast ground movement pressure strings), but flash should have the advantage of fast terrain use something Iron Fist could have sorely used(I think he has maybe a walljump, but not enough). He still might, but I don't think he'll quickly find a reason to leave Batman. You know unless he is somehow utterass(yet the likely victor of battle arena :3)

I agree with the 2nd part of your post.

Things like back to block wont make a difference, its not like pressing a button to block, or holding back to block require an indepth level of execution.
the block button does matter if the crossups are like in sf. if they cross you up and especially on knockdown you often wont know which side the attack actually hits it could be a fake crossup, if you press the wrong direction to block you will get hit. a block button completely takes care of that problem.

also you know how people walk back trying to whiff punish something like a kitana f21 and get hit sometimes? stuff like that wont happen with back to block.

Real talk, I read a post on this site where someone said "They don't like back to block because EVERY back to block game they played, had glitchy unblockable crossovers".

I was like......

No I get that that, blocking a crossup the wrong way definitely feels like that, despite the phrasing inaccuracies :3

I actually want people from other communities playing this game, especially top players. It would add so much hype. Imagine the top players from MK9 playing them.

With that said, LBSH, all these Capcom guys will drop the game with a month or two and complain about it.

Well I doubt I'll drop it that fast as they seem to have made all the right decisions to appeal to me, but who knows how it plays :)

My expectations are positive, it's up to the game to keep me interested :)

Lots of ppl already shitting on their pants?

I really don't understand why would some of you guys are shitting in the pants because a top player from other community announcing he will be the Sinestro Champ.

We will all play this game, and we will all research it, i could care less or give a f*** if another player who will start playing Injustice at the same time i will will body everyone in the community
What does he has of so special that you guys don't? Believe in yourselves for f*** sake, and exploit the shit out of a character then body the hell out of them!

it's whatever. Capcom players will try it out, just like I and other MK players try out capcom games. The majority of them will completely bash it and leave, saying things like "lol this game doesn't incorporate basic fighting game principals, nether realm games lack fundamentals, etc etc."

This isn't new, nor is the simple fact that the majority of the capcom community's inability to acknowledge that it's possible for different games to have different fundamentals.

So basically like they got their ass wupped in Mk9, it will happen again in Injustice because the fundamentals is totally different from SF or Marvel.

Capcom players are better at SFxT than players from any other area like Namco or NRS am I right?
So the same logic does apply, because SFxT isnt Marvel, or SF4, but its still similar to them in ways because its Capcom.
No, they aren't. The reason the Capcom players win more is because they have their S-tier players devoting themselves. Meanwhile, mostly the A and B-tiers of other communities play SFxT, so the capcom players will obviously keep winning at the game. If the NRS communities S-tiers, like PL, Tom Brady, Pig etc. were to devote themselves to SFxT they would do just as well. That and there are examples of people from other communities beating players at their game, so your argument kind of falls apart right there.
The better player will always win, community doesn't matter

You're just proving me right, why would Capcom players devote themselves to Injustice the same way they do to something like SF4? Its obvious that the NRS heads will be the ones devoting most time to this game, you can't even begin to argue otherwise, because otherwise the game wouldnt even be at tournaments.

Sure they'll play, but they still need to practice their Capcom game and stay on top over there, unless your names Tokido, you wont do it.

So what you're telling the top players of this community, is that they're going to have to deal with a massive shit-talker? I wouldn't even be surprised if he bashes the game.
Massive shit talker indeed, douche would even be a pretty fair description of F Champ. But you can't take away the fact that he is a very smart player and will probably do well in Injustice if he sticks with it.

Hyping up outside players like this does feel kind of demeaning though, its like saying "oh no MK community! here come the real fighting game players!" He's still gonna have to actually learn the game just like everyone else.

Except that there are multiple examples, besides just tokido, of people from other communities that devote time to another game and still win.

That and in your original post you made it out that getting into the game where even people from other communities are playing as much as NRS players, that they'll have some sort of advantage. Maybe if you had said later down the line, then yeah the devotion thing will matter due to few players that will stick to this game and the bias and negative image other communities have against NRS fighters.

At the beginning of the games life, the players destroying the other one will be the better. Not the one from the whatever community.

The only other one I can think of is Ryan Hart (SF4 & Tekken)
All of the others are good at Capcom only games right?

You're either gonna be dedicated to injustice, or not, and if you're not you'll just be another Chris G. Yeah Chris G is good enough to take down some players occassionally, but he's never had it in him to be better than dedicated MK players.

RTSD All Day. I'm going in. No Vaseline.
mk players are going to have the upper hand because of the systematic similarities, hes going to get his shit pushed in.
I severely doubt that. Most of the fundamentals that fighting game players develop come from SF. It would't surprise me if a top SF player took the first tournament.

All you have to do is look at MK tournament results opposed to Capcom game results.

Yeah.. sometimes good players from AE or another game enter and win at a different game. How many times was that other game that theywon at anotehr capcom game? Like.. every single time?
There's a reason why there's familiar names across the board for all capcom games and an entirely different set of names of MK. Why would you think another game from NRS would include the capcom guys on those lists and not the MK players? That's just silly.

I'm talking about all communties, not just capcom. We have Ryan heart, Kuruso, Koichi, Tokido, Kanq, Floe, Mike Z etc.

you know what capcom top players bring to a community,

long wait times to get your matches in, because you have to wait for the divas to make there way to your game.

and yes, 90% of them are divas.

Even Justin Shlong is a Diva once he gets around his Capcom buddys, they are elitists, and I don't like that,

MK for fucking Life, lets stick together

edit: its mostly the American ones, the Japaneese dudes and other dudes are super awesome in real life, and respectful
