I was thinking that if they were to go the original character route in this that it would be in a timeskip scenario taking place long after the regime plot, with the character being the son of Supes and Wondy, basically a variation on Superboy. Children seem to come up a lot in the comic with the death of Lois and her unborn baby, the upcoming appearance of Damian and Ares threatening to go after the future child of Clark and Diana. Something has to happen with those two having a child, and that could be a likely scenario.

I like to think that the game wil feature more than just 24 characters at the release of the game.
I like to think that they will expand the character select window and have more characters in it. If it for now only has 24 characters (with Ares and Hopefully Captain Cold), then where will the random selection be?

27 characters at the launch with at least Martain Manhunter and 2 never officially mentioned or simply hinted characters + random select.

Random will most likely be as it was in mk9 where you press the options button and then random, to get a random character.

I don´t get why all the hate for Killer frost I understand that some of you rather have another character to be ingame but no need to hate on her. She a fine character that can do alot of things with her ice power and maybe you Flash fans might get a villian like Mirror master instead of CC who knowns..

Captain Cold is more deserving and he's always treated like shit outside of a Flash Comic I don't much follow the character but thats kinda unfair so the right thing to do is make Captain Cold playable. That being said I think he gets fucked over again because one or more of the DC upperups really don't like him for some reason. I think if Flash gets a villain it will be Mirror Master, he's just a redesigned if not more and would be the perfect villain for a Flash or even future JLA movie and because other than an original character(I actually kinda like that idea) I don't see anyone but Killer Frost who I don't hate I'm pretty sure whatever Ice Villain we get will just be there to make silly ice puns and maybe freeze a person or 2 I doubt they'll have any real impact on the story

TLDR: Captain Cold without a doubt should be in this game but politics fuck him over

It's a fine amount but we're going by Hector's comments that a) That select screen they've been using for demos and such is a "decoy", b) 12 characters isn't even half the roster and c) The multiple comments about the roster being about the size of MK9's if not larger from Boon and others. If they had just come out and said 24 characters is the full roster then that would be fine, but when all their comments about the roster lead us to believe that there's more than 24 it feels misleading.

I don´t see how captain cold getting treated like shit outside flash comic has anything to do with NRS.. It their job to create a great fighting game with diverse character and sell alot of copies, not do fan servies for character that having a hard time..

but this game is pretty much a fan service

adding an ice character adds to diversity also, there's really not an ice specialist so far.

but Captain Cold makes the most sense seeing as Flash needs a villain and hes the Flashs second biggest villain (after Zoom whos probably going to be a costume)

I hope all of this MMHunter stuff is a troll. He should be a secret unlockable along with Ares. You get MMHunter when you get to his part of the story mode (like CSZ) and Ares is unlocked when you complete story mode (Quan Chi). The last two slots can be Captain Cold and Circe.

Mr. Freeze would be my choice for an ice character....sadly all he's likely getting is a frozen cell in Arkham. As for the other two, I like the idea of an ice character but I don't really care who gets it. I can see the arguments for both: I guess Captain Cold deserves it more and makes more logical sense and his name and parka is ultra cheesy....something I see as a funny positive selling point. His costume looked more re-designed than most and now looks kind of like a jester in the Injustice comic. As for Killer Frost, I've seen her more in DC TV shows than I've ever seen Captain Cold in anything so she's more recognizable to me. The achievement pic looks like it could be her if you squint and blur your vision just right and then there is the "COLDGIRL" noob.com clue. ...it will be interesting to see how this goes down.

Right but why Killer Frost over Captain Cold? Seriously Captain Cold is far more interesting than Frost for a lot of reasons. The guns are more interesting than doing yet another cryokinesis character, he's an important villain to the Flash who so far has no villains in the roster when even Shazam has Black Adam, he would have good reason to play an active part in the story and go against the regime and join Batman, he is more well known and has more fans. Plus it would give much needed exposure to the Flash's rogues which DC/WB should want to do if they ever want to make a Flash movie. Killer Frost without Firestorm is basically eye-candy who would most likely be about as important to the story here as Sheeva was to MK9 or in other words not important at all.
