We already know that chip damage will be in the game. It will have premises, tweaks and so on to it, but it will be there.
I'm personally against it.
To me it looks like great blocking doesn't get you as far as in other fighting games and that comebacks are much harder. I would like to have chip damage only on normals in Injustice.
If you want to reward aggressive players, then let them simply be the ones who gain meter by doing normal attacks on enemies who are blocking and don't give any meter to the ones who are blocking.
So the advantage still stays there and the ones who are blocking profit more from the blocking.
In a game with only one round / two health bars, which don't recover from adding chip damage doesn't look that appealing.
That was always my main flaw with Injustice.
What's your opinion?
