Doomsday doesn't really use spikes, the DCUO model really over exaggerated the rocky protrusions on his body by making them full on spikes. Doomsday is known to punch and tackle really, REALLY hard, and that's about it. In some of his other appearances he's gotten other odd powers like flame breath, but I'm just going by his most well known powerset.
Well i hope Neatherrealm makes his spikes come out his hand cause it's their version of Doomsday
That picture of Doomsday from the Gamestop site was a render from DCUO, not Injustice. The screenshots we've seen of Doomsday from this game don't have huge spikes like that, just the rock-like protrusions that he usually has which he doesn't use to fight with.
Doomsday once elongated his spikes from his hands and pierced Superman with them. And judging by Superman's reaction, they were poisonous.
Like I said, he's gotten some odd powers later on but I was just going by his original powerset, though NRS may choose to incorporate some of his abilities from more recent books so who knows, maybe he could end up with spike attacks in this, though probably not on the level of Baraka.
Dude. Doomsday doesn't have odd powers. He just adapts and evolves a counter to his enemy. And that instance was from his early appearances. I don't feel Doomsday would play like Baraka. Probably would play like Hulk, only faster and with some scary shit.
Gah, then I must be mistaken. Sorry, it's been a while since I've read Death of Superman or anything else with Doomsday in it.
