Injustice General Discussion

It has nothing to do with the game itself. The XBox 360 is not a big seller in Japan compared to Sony and Nintendo's consoles. Not quite sure why, it's not like it's inferior or anything.

The xbox lacks eastern games and microsoft lacks the sort of brand loyalty Sony and Nintendo have.

This is unrelated to the current discussion, but I don't think it deserves its own topic.

I've heard a lot of people being worried about the stage interactions and thinking about turning them off. My question is, can you work them into a combo? From all the videos I've seen they never use them to start a combo or even combo into them.

Anyone know?

Are you just referring to the stage interactions like the Batmobile's missiles in the Bat Cave?

Oh right, I think those are comboable. I was more referring to the shit you can throw, like the globe in the watchtower or the chandelier in Wayne manor

Is that Wildcat in the background behind GA's left hand? Looks like the stage w/ Justice League statues goes together w/ the JSA costume display capsules. Also, notice it reads "Hall of Justice" on the wall.

Hmmm, Hall of Justice...I'd love it if there was an exterior part of the map where you're fighting on the lawn and can actually see the Hall of Justice, that'd be neat.

Also, Hawkgirl.

Superman comboed into one of the Power slam objects in one of the trailers I think, so I think there'll be a healthy mix. Some of the smaller rolly types, like the donkey kong barrels in batcave and by the strip club seem like the launch high enough for a combo, but we'll see how many characters can actually take advtanage of it from anything other than pointblank.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I'll tell you what I'd *really* appreciate in the game. In MK9 I wish I could practice specific match-ups. Like, ok, I want to practice Kenshi vs. Scorpion on expert over and over again. AI might not be a perfect substitute for a good player, but it is something. Or if I don't run into a lot of Cyrax players, I want to practice vs. Cyrax a few times. I think this is something that would be really useful. So, I want Injustice to have something where if I pick Aquaman as a main, I can select to fight practice matches against specific characters. I can't imagine this would be a very difficult feature to include. Particularly since it always emerges that some MUs are tougher for some characters, if like Green Arrow has a hard time w/ Catwoman, a Green Arrower main might appreciate being able to practice that MU over and over again.

Mm, the option to fight AI in versus mode used to be a pretty common feature in fighters. Might happen. I'm not really convinced it'd be all too helpful but I really don't see a reason not to include it. When I was a wee child playing fighting games of questionable quality for kicks n' giggles I know I used such modes often enough.

dude you can set the a.i. To any difficulty in training mode in mk9 so you can play an infinitely long match against any opponent you want.

there is a single match, vs cpu mode (works just like vs)
Not to sound skeptical, but...dammit, I'm skeptical. Where does this info come from? Heck, I tweeted @InjusticeGame and all I got was the standard "We haven't announced all game modes and features, stay tuned" line.
