We saw Doomsday in one of the very first videos standing in the background (FOS stage) and we saw Flash dodging a freeze ray (even though it should be a cold beam), so Doomsday and Captain Cold are both a given.
I personally don't expect Doomsday to be playable. With Solomon Grundy and Bane I simply don't see which role Doomsday could take as a part of the roster.

That's like saying "the tank" in city under fire stage is confirmed. Something turning up in a background is meaningless.

And no, we haven't seen Cold. Everybody assumes its him, and all signs point to him, but we haven't "officially" seen him. You must not have been around for MK9, my friend.

I think an easy way out would be to say that he did not die, but that he maybe was only in a coma for a while, because his body was able to deal with the Joker gas, because he used a lot of antidotes to make his own body immune against his own fear gas.
And as a side effect it made him somewhat immune to the Joker gas.

I would really like to see Scarecrow in the game. I think that he is actually one of the characters in the DC universe who could EASILY offer you an unique playing experience, since his style differs so much from most of the other characters.
His gas would act as a bunch of illusions and stuff like that and he could go fully out with these illusions and maybe even damage over time effects.

I think that would be really interesting. To poison an enemy with the gas and create illusions (mirror images of yourself, where the people would have to look out for which one to attack, since you could be the one standing behind :)

More likely Raven if its a female. She's been spotted in game already and Boon has mentioned he is not a fan of Zatanna.

Raven and Hawkgirl are who I expect to round up the female Roster on launch with Power Girl as a DLC choice. Maybe Black Canary , too, since a lot of people want her and the tweet Ed replied to like "The question is Canary, Lightning, or Adam?" And we know that Adam was already seen by several magazines, etc.

Well Robin isnt in the game, so that is a plus.

If we are going female characters then I want Vandal Savage, with a Baraka like blade charge.

When did he say that? I remember him being asked if he had to choose out of Zatanna and Doctor Fate, which one he'd want in the game and he said Doctor Fate. Is that what you're references? If so, not sure how you interpret that as hating a character and not just having a preference for one character over another.

I think it's funny how some people are saying we should keep the dead characters from MK9 playable when 10 rolls out, but that logic doesn't work for GAU?

More than likely, I know something that's kinda public, but, I don't wanna put it on blast, it makes sense. Just do a little searching and you'll see what I'm talking about. ;). Or at least what I'm expecting based on what I'm seeing.
