I don't, just to show when people wanna jump out of something, they will haha.I realize this is an example, but why go for d4 twice lol?

Kano's 1 isn't 9 frames. It's like 11 or 12, I believe.I used to hate fighting online derptiles, but with CSZ I can punish a blocked elbow with 11 ice ball. CSZ standing 1 is 9 frames. I can't seem to punish it with Kanos standing 1 which is 9 frames, but I can punish a blocked elbow with upball (8 frames). Once you start punishing these scrubs spamming elbows, they fall to pieces. Generally, a good normal or special falling under the 9 or less frame mark, should be enough to punish that crap.
maybe you need to upgrade your speed because I punish this just fine with D1 into combos or forward dashesLao is joke online. Teleport unpunishable except for uppercuts on a lot of characters and even then it derps sometimes. He gets out of shit he shouldnt with the spin. His up close is better than it should be. Trying to blok to his divekick derps 24/7
Some wake up attacks CAN be baited and punished with a njp lol. I've seen it done offline too.all i'm going to say is njp stuffs all wakeup attacks online.
Not all the time. I pretty much beat everyone online except for a couple and when I win I still say online sucks or ill msg my opponent and tell them its laggy. Whenever I beat ppl with mileena I tell them it's mileena and she's bs online which is all trueOne word for people who complain about online play - EXCUSES
I didn't know 2,4,low hat included any directional inputs.Maybe at EVO he thinks he is playing online and mashes two well-known directional buttons to the victory, kappa.
lol that stuff happened to me as well, like laos 21 on hit is +6 I wanted to do a standing 1 which is 10 frames and they grabbed me out of it. last game I played online...I have been grabbed after doing the F33exFB trap with Cage, before following up with another F3. Lol..online.
Yes it can really be that bad. But you have to understand what online is for if you want to get any use out of it. Online is for practice and match-up experience, that's it. It's not the best practice or the best way to learn match-ups, but it's the quickest and most convenient. Playing people online will allow you to play against a vast variety of characters and playstyles where you more than likely wouldn't be able to compete against locally. The problem is people tend to take online too seriously, thus the constant complaints about lag. This isn't the only reason you see complaints about lag, sometimes it just gets too frustrating so you have to vent about it. But some practice and experience, even if it's watered down, is better than none at all. You can become the best player in the world playing online. The only thing you can't do is PROVE your the best player BY playing online. The only way to prove that is playing at tournaments OFFLINE.I see people on this glorious website day in, day out complaining about playing online. "It's too laggy." "You can't do that offline." etc. etc. Can it really be that bad? Our back to back EVO champ plays exclusively online until tournaments. If it's that bad how can one rely on crappy netcode then go out and win the biggest tournament of the year...twice!?!!?
Discuss.
I agree about proving yourself 110% with offline play. I'm just saying it cant be too bad if someone can win EVO while mostly playing human opponents online.Yes it can really be that bad. Its good for matchup experience and experiencing new playstylesI agree about proving yourself 110% with offline play. I'm just saying it cant be too bad if someone can win EVO while mostly playing human opponents online.
If you know how to discern what actually works offline, online is a good tool. PL also does get some offline experience from time to time.I agree about proving yourself 110% with offline play. I'm just saying it cant be too bad if someone can win EVO while mostly playing human opponents online.
