I actually agree with a lot of this, but at the risk of being labelled as a "Cyrax downplayer" (which I am far from), I have minor disagreements on a few match-ups....
Reptile 7-3
Scorpion 8-2
Sheeva 9-1
Reptile 6-4: I don't see how this is 7-3 and not 6-4. Reptile has armor on his slide and can armor through a Net before Cyrax has time to recover. Plus, his forceball zoning is underrated imo, and the best way to fight Cyrax is to zone him out (just about his only weakness). Mix-in acid spits and forceballs to give Cyrax trouble. I still think this favors Cyrax, definitely, just not to the point where it's 7-3
Scorpion 8-2: I can't call this 8-2.... especially when you look at the other 8-2 match-ups in this game, I don't think Cyrax/Scorpion can be put in that category. This is 7-3. Scorp can EX-Spear Net for a vortex shenanigans and, if you space it well enough, even the bombs, which is viable-ish. That said, 7-3 is still difficult for Scorpion and I'm not saying Cyrax has to work really hard (Cyrax destroys Scorpion in footsies...), but not to the tune of 8-2
Sheeva 9-1: Come on, not 9-1 lol. The only Sheeva that I ever really play is
Lumpymoomilk, and I don't mean any disrespect to him by saying this (seeing as he said it himself earlier in this thread), but he plays a very simple Sheeva as opposed to Jeremiah and his safe BF3 frame-trap stuff, and it's not a runaway victory for Cyrax. Have to respect here armor is all. Again, I just want to lower it one point to an 8-2, because this isn't Kenshi against Jade we're talking here
Everything else I agree on. He does have a shitload of match-ups that are well in his favor because he's just a beast. It's refreshing to see a match-up chart that doesn't downplay him (and I say that assuming you've picked him up and have grinded out some match-ups).
Also, one more thing....
If this is true, then WHO WANTS TO HELP ME GRIND THIS OUT SO I CAN SEE THE DAMN LIGHT, because if I'm getting bodied in a match-up that is 7-3 in my favor, then fuck me running. This guy gives me so many problems, but Denzell isn't the first person to say Cyrax owns Lao, so I guess I need some help
