If you could remove 1 THING out of MK9, What would it be?

kabal would be fine after some small nerfs and even now some characters handle kabal just fine.

imo nerfs should be:

- standing 2 dash cancel on high hitbox characters.
- saw blade doesnt trade and overhead hook swords needs to be more disadvantage not enough to be punished though, people should at least get a blockstring on a blocked saw or hook sword.
- nerf meter building slightly on dash cancel, like 20% less
- you need to get hit by two airborne gas blasts for kabal to be able to connect the nomad dash, this means the kabal player needs to be on point with his execution.

with this kabal would still be nr1 and he would not wreck the whole cast like he does now. a lot of 7-3's would be 6-4's and some characters might go even with him now.
i agree with all but the last one....it seems kinda dumb lol.
 
you shouldn't be able to air throw a grounded opponent.Jump Kick,Air throw.very annoying.(Smoke,Jax,Scorpian,Kano)
Along with the obvious rune traps,f3's,ndc's,resets.
Jk~Air Throw does literally no damage lol. The jk also lifts you off of the ground... makes you airbourne...

Low hitboxes are a close runner up. Although I do like the fact that characters' "breathing animations" cause their hitboxes to move because that fixes the low hitbox problem to a degree, and also sets up free throw attempts.

I wouldn't change a thing. I would expand training mode three times over, with more competitive tutorials. I would add 12 new alt costumes...6 new cast members.... and either add better/more music, or add a feature to easily create your own soundtrack in game.
(And I would give CSZ and some other lower tiers some godforsaken armor)

Ok ok, get rid of one of Kabal's tools(pick one) and nerf those resets for cyrax.
(besides that I would remove nothing)

Seems most people in this thread are just irrationally pointing out their own personal kryptonite that stops them from going full retard and are showing no thought process on actual game-changing assets.

If I had to remove 1 thing? The Unreal Engine, I can't stress enough how many problems would be resolved right off the bat had MK9 been built from the ground up on a proprietary engine.

I honestly can't believe people would choose anything over input bug. Armor? Yeah, I'm sure that's worse than an 8 frame D4 coming out as a 3125185 frame standing 4 and costing you the match.
Glad I wasn't the only one that noticed it's predominantly Sub players banging on armor's door lol.

Flagg is the only one that's given an insightful opinion on it IMO.

Couldnt say theres 1 thing i would remove, would more or less remove everything that ever slightly annoyed me.

If i could CHANGE one thing, it would be the ability to buffer attacks properly into previous actions so that you can get reliable tight frame traps, and reliably get out of them.

For all of you saying that input bug is the problem, why would you choose that over blockstun?
That means you Sub players could rely more on your 22 to interupt shit rather than D4.
why interrupt things when I know you can't armor out of jail.

but yeah... overall I think the blockstun would remove the input bug as well. I'm fairly certain they are tied together.
