I'm starting to get down the JFSR for hwoarang. It seems you have to hit 4 a bit early before df (f netrual 4+df). Still the Koreans hit it like cheese.

Hey man, how much was/is your shipping on that? I think I might pick one up they have been sold out for ages and just realized you can pre-order from your post.
I've been watching that site for a few weeks now and they came in for pre-order this morning. Shipping was $39 to the UK. :)

Thanks man, I could not get the shipping calculator to work last time I tried. 39 Is not so bad but I had heard it is quite a bit more to the states.

thanks again for the response.

Lol it seems hitting someone with a hit level changing unguarded move doesn't give enough advantage to keep pressuring with a jab string, most strings that leave the opponent standing grant hardly any advantage despite the animations, I was wondering why I get launched as Bruce.

Every Jinpachi player needs to start using while rising 1,1 (both mid), it's fast enough to punish jab mashers. On hit it is a natural combo straight into a bound and following up with db3,1 gives 52 dmg, it (wr 1,1) seems to be safe on block I haven't been jab punished for it. I was using db2 (high crushing low hit) a lot into a mixup of either finishing the natural combo string into 1 (high) or doing while rising 1,1 or if they respect the mixup too much you can throw them. My current gameplan relies heavily on chipping away with fast lows like Bruce's standing d4 and Jinpachis db2, If someone starts to low crush or low parry those moves on reaction I need to get more creative.

I was playing with someone who said he had been playing Tekken since 3, I was able to get a few rounds of off him but obviously I lost every match vs his mains (Lee/Jun). He was from Denmark with a 5 bar connection and it felt like offline.

Are ya' ready for MK11 kids?!
I was browsing through ranked earlier and I bumped into a A.Ogre/Ogre player turtling his ass off by the PSN ID of "JOPTown"

I can't tell if it's really him or if someones trolling him lol

I blow so hard at 3-d fighters, but i did pick up a copy. If any one wants to stomp some face my psn is BlackBryan. I could use a good schooling in Tekken considering New Mexico actually has a decent scene for it. Nobody plays Mk over here :(

Every day I just make more dirt with Jun.

She's got alot of possbilites from her 2 stances, and 2 cancels. Also good to turtle with her/Asuka. Especially with Asukas new FF2 1/1+2 string.

I wish they never nerfed her d/f+4. Back in vanilla arcade Tag 2, if you spiked your opponent with her d/b+1 at the end of a juggle, d/f+4 would reset them if they did anything but stay on the ground. Even if they did stay on the ground the d/f+4 would hit them grounded. At least they made her ff+3 safe on block to compensate a little.

Maybe she can rise, I'm doing shit with her not even the Koreans are doing. Or maybe there are reasons already for why not to do it. Who knows.
Apparently Jun wasn't popular at all in Asia and it was Western audiences that requested her return so that may play a part.

There could be a lot of holes in her stance transitions maybe? I know there are ways to stuff pretty much all of Leos, at least in T6 there were. I still don't know enough about it tbh.

Her GEN stance must be hitconfirmed, or you can use it randomly at risk, her IZU stance is a high and her frame advantage moves are either high or steppable, but its possible to set them all up.

How do you guys feel about using TA? It often doesn't seem worth giving them rage for the sake of 20 or so damage.

I treat TA like an x-ray in MK9, except I have it whenever I want. So I will use it to finish the round/match. I don't want the opposing character to get rage. I will also use it to bring in my partner safely if I am low on health and I was unable to use a move that allows a raw tag on hit.

Leo is good in this game...
Honeslty... everyone has dirt. Its how well you set up said dirt. I've kinda figured out why they toned down King normal combo damage and made him sorta unsafe. Its a shame that my xbox pad just doesn't like the half circle motions as much as my ps3 pad. Converter here I come.

Certain partners need the TA to get the big chunks of damage.
I know using AK and King I don't break very high combo damage. They have a ton of Oki options though.... that other charcaters don't posses (Ground throws and roll traps that are 50/50's).

Where as someone like all the mishimas and Jun and Asuka have the vitality option OR huge fucking chunks of TA damage.

I typically try to not TA on the first combo. I'll go for an Oki option to see if I can't squeeze out more damage.

Like I said... i've seen some pairs not even care... because they get so much damage and wall carry off the TA. Lars and his partner are going to TA... so he can get his wall game on. Lars and Heihachi would be deadly. The old man has a sick wall game.

I am kinda thinking about dropping Jinpachi for Heihachi. Jinpachis pokes are horrible in comparison with Bruce, good players will not be running into wind god fists or getting killed in his oki. Not having a wavedash (Jinpachi) is huge in this game and I need to find a way to use his Nyoishu and astral projection mixups or die trying. Heihachi has some wicked tools, it's gonna take some time to learn to use all his tools but I am all for it.
