Why am I so tall?
I dunno if anybody I've played with still plays, but I may be getting back into Mortal Kombat after a couple of weeks. Forgive the idiotic question, but are DLC characters tournament-legal? I only ask because I didn't see any at EVO or any more recent tournament that I can think of.

They were banned at EVO due to people having lack of matchup info on them, and non-nerfed things such as Skarlets Dagger cancel.
They are no longer banned at tournaments.

that's right in the midst of Summer Jam x_x if SJ plans fall through i should have that day off regardless and will be hittin up that Revival.

Anyone in ATL feel like getting together once a week and playing? I think the tekken house AKA east point would be a good meet up spot. If you don't feel like driving all the way there for whatever reason I live in midtown and can have some people over as well.

I hope to see some stiff competition at Dragon Con. I know there's usually some at AWA, but can only afford one trip up there. LET'S DO IT.

EDIT: Wait hold on this was the 2010 schedule for gaming tournaments.

EDIT2: I googled it and all I could find was some reference to a kick-off party in Marietta with something called Battle and Brew.

Too bad when I click on the link it has no mention of Mortal Kombat.

Not sure if there will be a tourney but I do know there was a group of BlazBlue players who were there two years ago and still played BB after tourney hours even though there was no BB tourney. Only SF4.

Anyways my point is I hope there is a good group of MK players who plan to attend Dcon but should still squeeze in some MK time with other good players.

I'll try to come to revival again, but im just now moving out into an apartment in kenessaw where Ill be going to college, so it'll be a little rough
I also just got a fight stick for my xbox which I am now almost used t so have fun whooping my ass while I still have to use a ps3 pad ;(

well, as you can see from this thread, there's monthly fighting game tournaments in atlanta at the world congress center. this month's is july 27. also, in about 2 days here i'm gonna officially be a kennesaw MK player which is in the same county as mableton, so maybe something can happen that way.

If anyone wants a decent GA player to practice against I'm always up for playing online. This is the only game I play currently so I'm on it quite frequently. I'd add all of you who have your XBL GT listed but I don't want to make you feel like you have to be my friend or play with me unless you actually want to.

First time poster here. I was referred to this site from Shoryuken.

I live technically closer to Chattanooga TN than Atlanta, but I'm from Ringgold, GA. Just thought I'd pop in to rep the state. I'm not aware of any fighting game scenes anywhere near here (there used to be a fighting games club called Chattanooga Fight Club that would meet in Hixson at a Buffalo Wild Wings, but unfortunately I only found out about this club after they ended due to a lack of interest and too few participants.)

My tournament days are pretty much done (work/college now) but I'm still always eager to play GA players online, message or friend request, really looking forward to challenges.

we all need to get together and get some games in. i took the 25th-29th off because i thought i'd be going to summer jam (lol) so any time in there would beeee awesome. looking @ you foodlegs, gdf and your brother, silent_chaos, anyone else around cobb county
