I still come to tech every friday. We actually found out last friday that all the classes in Klaus are locked over the summer, but my student ID still lets me get into the computer labs so we set up our stuff in there. I'd love for MK people to show up sometimes but BBCS2 is out and I'm loving it so I still have something to play.

I've notice some of you guys looking for a place to meetup and play sometimes as well as looking to meet more gamers. I just wanted to let everyone know that there is also a gaming center in Lithonia called Gamers Xperience. I am the owner...we have been operating for over 4 years now. We have open gaming, for everyone to just come down to play with and against fellow gamers from around Atlanta. We do also host tournaments and events. We are very easy to find as well as on a bus route.

Open Gaming Every: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4pm til 10:30pm

Don't know if everyone are speaking of meeting at our center Gamers Xperience, a.k.a GX, but if so I can offer a special price of $5 for the first time you guys come down. Our normal 1 day pass is $10.

Just wanna give this place a shout out, I've known about it for years and I've been here a few times for different tourneys(Gears of War, Halo). They hold a weekly fighting game night where the 1st place finisher gets 60% of the pot, 2nd gets 30%, 3rd gets 10%.

If you live near Marietta and want to see a weekly MK tourney get held than contact this email or their phone and ask about it. Right now it seems like their weekly tourney is SSF4 but I'm sure if the demand is high enough they'd switch to MK or hold one for us as well.

Worth a shot I think.

I would be able to make most of the tourneys at Battle and Brew if they started MK9 tourneys. I live a mile away from there.

I asked them about in on their facebook page, they said they've been thinking about it. Would help if they knew several people supported it.

I live about 30 mins away but I wouldn't mind going every couple weeks or so when I can.

EDIT: Here's what they said on FB when I asked about MK being added.

"Its been discussed. we are thinking of adding it to the fight night lineup on thursdays after the super street fighter league is over (sometime in august) until then, hone your skills! Thanks for expressing interest- it helps make our decision to add it easier!"
