I'm happy to announce that 2/3 of the top 3 at the ATL Revival was from TYM! Eshi 2nd place with Cyrax, me in third with Reptile, and ATL Red came in first with his Liu Kang. Hope to see more next month! :)

Nice, congrats man! I main Liu Kang and Cyrax and they came in 1st and 2nd? Good shit!

Yeah man... Cyrax was doing those insane bomb unblockables... and Liu Kang with that one damn string that carries to the corner lol... I kinda know how to handle Cyrax, but I *still* have no idea what to do against Liu. It was great though!

I thought it was really funny how I had an easy time against most people, vs you was pretty close, and then atl red scraped me off his shoe. Definitely have to take liu kang to the lab so that doesn't happen again.

Naw don't worry about it bro, you're good. It seems Reptile suffers against Cyrax, possibly a bad match-up for sure. I can stuff all your wake-up options with a meaty Net. I can get the lead and sit back spamming Bombs and Nets. Cyrax can keep you out pretty efficiently, but is even more dangerous up close. His command grab to unblockable bomb set-up is too good. His 62% off of 1 meter is also so nasty. I'm definitely thinking he's above Liu Kang, but that just cause he's a lot more fun to use, lol.

Ggs to all the mk players that showed up my kitana did pretty good but I need to lvl up my match up knowledge to liu and raiden :) any tips

Thanks man! Yeah I started changing some stuff around and did a *little* better against your cyrax. Your helping me out a lot :)

Mid-Full screen Cyrax's options aren't very good, net is too slow to punish anything so it's easier to get around bombs and Reptile's zoning is hard to deal with. Taking advantage of that plus punishing mistakes with kabal dash and his slow teleport on reaction is probably how Reptile needs to handle the match-up.

Cyrax is hard to deal with once he's close, and he doesn't have to deal with anyone's wake-up options with the right set-ups. His 50/50's are ridiculously good.

sup ppl i was jus messing around with cyrax tonite labbing him up a little on ps3 and i noticed i think they patched a few things about some of his set ups some of this stuff is not happening no more such as a net to bomb to standing 4 if the opponent is in a net cyrax will not throw a bomb out he will open his chest and nothing comes out might be a stealth patch anybody else wanna test this?

and jugg where do you live i have a car i don't mind coming out to get some serious games in with any mk players i live 10 mins down the street from Atlanta and i travel all over the place if any others wanna get some offline game in too and Ate bit your cyrax was look very solid i wanted to play you in some casuals but i was getting sleeping and Yuna how are you i wouldn't mind playing your jade i learned some jade too my self im still messing with the whole cast yall :)

We have gatherings every Friday at GA Tech, you should meet us there. Also I am the reptile player not cyrax ;)

He could never throw out a bomb on a netted target. That would just be ridiculous.

Actually the better question is who all is coming tonight? I am trying to figure out how many MK people we will have there.

I might come around tonight but I'm leaving for boston tomorrow really early in the morning and won't be back until next saturday. Still I'll try to make it there.
