The only slaw I want to see in this thread is in a cup with some chicken fingers and fries.

Is MKII on PSN a good buy? It's cheap at least...

i will most likely be attending some of these, i was there on monday, was goin to play umk but it was off, so i played mk2:(

The ps3 MK2 is kinda without bellls and whistles.....It is kinda like a port that is shitty because it has none of the background stuff like in the living forest or the random jump ins like the arcade game that i recall....I still bought it.

Why will xbl or psn not release UMK3.....i really want that game.

mk2 on psn is the same as the arcade, nothing is missing. and umk3 was on xbl,but WB pulled it though

It seems alittle less to me but i may be thinking of something different. I never see the ninjas in the living forest or any of the other moving background things. That is the only reason i made that assumption. WB needs to put umk3 back up.

They need to go ahead and release a gameplay trailer for Sheevers.

I don't see how you all are playing the demo so much. Tbh, I touched it for 5 minutes. I didn't want to become accustomed to something that isn't in the final build. Especially if the changes are as drastic as I hear.


I'll try to come to Nash at least once a month if this game is fun. Doesn't even have to be competitive. If it's a legit MK, wholesome stupidity intact, it's on.

It will probably be bring your own pad at first. There is talk of maybe building an actual cabinet for MK9, but don't know yet. I'm personally buying a Xconverter to use a ps2 pad, and I might have one of those new 360 pads with the new adjustable dpad someone can use, but again, I'm not sure on that either. Just bring whatever you can use best.

im hoping i can get good on stick by starting the game on one. we'll see tho. there is no way im carrying my 2p fight stick up there tho, might have to cut it in half or something.

So my friend who works at gamestop told me that they are having a tournament this coming monday night at 10pm. I am pretty excited. I think i will stick with a demo character for this tourney since i have no idea other characters moves.....I may get a free copy of the game.
