It is supposed to be all gamestops that have the midnight release. I heard even if they do not have the tourney they will raffle off a copy of the game.

Alright guys, I have to clear a date with Dream, but be on the lookout for my announcement for "Mortal Kombat weekly punch a dude in the face" gatherings (the name 'fight night' is old). I'll post up here when it's going to get started, and yes this will be a weekly thing, so clear schedules and shit.

LMAO! Haha whats good bro? I saw you in the Cyber Sub thread trying to run shit lol. I always usually autorun with Kang in every MK but I'm liking Sonya alot in this. Especially since imma try to see what the comp is hitting on with this one and she's looking too good to resist. It was gonna be a Kang/Sheeva mixup because I didnt know how Kang would do against some characters but after playing Sheeva it seems like a huge struggle due to style of play she's built for and the game itself saying FUCK THAT SHIT. She gets penalized for landing telestomp by the opponent recovering before you. And it gets ugly trying to find a way to mix in her grabs as you get inside along with defending and from the outside her fireball is ugh. I dont like her normals all too much and her mixup strings are slow as fuck.

Like I said though, Kang is safe bet unless I feel too much power with Sonya. I know that's outta my "chara requirements" but that's my childhood shit lol.


We're def getting them in on PSN. And I surely thought you'd be running Cyrax(Human), nigga ninjas for life, but you just need to get your hands on the game. Everyone looks pretty well-rounded. Except Sheeva lol...

Sonya looks pretty good right now, so I think you're on the right path. Kang looks decent too. Sucks about ol' four arms, tho. She lookin' mad free right now lolololol

I used to main robo Smoke back in the day. They took his ass out so I switched to his BFF Sub-Zero. Now that they changed the story and got rid of robo Smoke, I had to do the right thing and main him in spirit... through his replacement who conveniently is Sub-Zero. Best of both worlds and all that.

I'll be playing regular Sub on the side too, so you'll be seeing that online as well.

As for Cyrax, I'm not down with yellow. Yes, I'm hella racist toward yellow robots. Fuck you, Bumblebee.

Because Jason and I are both free that evening, as are several other people. It's just the most convenient day we could pick out of the week.

Well damn looks like I might have to take back my hating on the game. A few hours in and damn its really fun so far. Having no real MK experience before this getting used to the "basics" is odd but so far well worth it.

Haha I feel ya. And from the bit of online I played, it sucks. Like...as bad as Tekken or worst, depending on who you use and what you're trying to do. And quit hating on Cyrax. He's even got Raven's quick spinning low. Is D.C. on that MK9?

I still don't know about Evo. I've actually really considered it this year though, planned a tiny bit, and all it depends on is how my pockets look after next month. Got alot of stuff going on in May. You?
