Official Tennessee MK thread

It was in Atlantic South until the regions got re-arranged so that the entire Atlantic region was lumped into one, and then re-arranged again to what they are now.

Hey, I'll be in Nashville next week, staying near the Mall at Green Hills, and I may be able to swing by Game Galaxy in my down time, provided I can find some means of transportation from there to Hickory Harlem (preferably by bus).

I'm in Nashville and was at the Midwest Champions MK tournament.

No wonder I never saw this thread though. It's in the Atlantic North section. Guess this is why people think all Southerners are dumb lol

Can we get a mod to move this to Atlantic South?

Also, is the Antioch, TN Game Galaxy planning on running any MK tournaments soon?

Hm. Nashville's only ~20 minutes from my house, but I lack some transportation so that makes things kinda difficult.

No idea about the Antioch one, but the Madison one had a tournament recently with no MK to be found. Shame.

Yep, I would've gone for sure if MK9 was there, but I don't play any of the other games that were included in the Madison tournament.

We're having an MK9 tournament at Game Galaxy in Nashville (Antioch) Saturday, Sep 10 at 7pm on XBOX 360...

And just as an FYI..I see you guys complaining about no MK tournaments, well, come to Game Galaxy to play once in awhile on MK and we will HAVE tournaments. Can't sit in your house, complain there is no scene if you don't actually support one. We have at least 3-4 people that would play MK IF people actually showed up to play but since no one does, we figure no one wants to play it anymore...prove us wrong

Oh hell yes. Gonna try my hardest to get there.

EDIT: Does anyone have a spare pad & converter by chance, or even just a spare 360 pad? Still waiting on my converter, and no real point in buying a 360 controller when it's only a few weeks from arriving. Also, is anyone east of Nashville going and could possibly give a ride? 'Bout 20 minutes east of Nashville. Unlikely, but never know. I doubt I'll -need- it, but a backup is always good to have.

The Antioch location's about an hour drive for me, so just showing up for casuals is kind of out of the way, but anytime there's a MK9 tourney, I will be there.

I play some Third Strike, too, so I'll definitely sign up for that as well.

Looking forward to it!

I'll start spreading the word.

Seriously need to combine the TN threads into one. East TN? West TN? Come on. No wonder no one knows wtf plays this game anymore...
