They're not really "new". And they're really good and you're a fool if you don't use them. The only decks that don't really use them are chain burn or exodia. The only excuse is that you don't know how they work and I've already explained that a few pages ago.
Well I only played Yugioh the first couple years it came out, so I know nothing of the white cards or xyz cards. But I read a couple of their effects and they look OP as shit lmao. I prefer old style Yugioh with no white or black cards

Old style is slow as shit. Long ass duels because all the old cards suck and are slow. New Yugioh is at least quick and you can win in under 2 turns in some cases.

You guys will get used to it. Once I started back up I hated them too, thought it was dumb how easy you could get these great monsters out. But then I realized it made the game faster and it's more fun that way. Ask REO, when you have limited options, the game is long and boring.

In my opinion it just depends on what deck you're using. Of course decks that run slow are going to feel boring. Some decks from the old meta were actually pretty fast and fun to use. Now I usually have to wait like 5 minutes until my opponent's turn is over because he's playing so many cards and it takes so long to read through all their effects (depending on what deck they're playing). Fast doesn't always mean fun btw. I honestly think that it's b.s. that you can summon strong monsters so easily now. If you have a bad hand then you pretty much lost, whereas back then you could draw out your deck and make a comeback.

Old decks are going to run slow compared to the new decks, that's just how it is. Long duels may be fun now that you're just starting to play again, but trust me, it's very boring not being able to do anything. And reading through all their effects thing is also a new player thing. Once you play for awhile you won't have to read the cards, at least most of them. There's so many traps and hand traps and other shit that stops summons all together that it's pretty easy to stop someone spamming the field with monsters. There are times where you can do nothing, but that's just how it is. The game is heavily based on luck and based on what you draw, that's YuGiOh.

Asshole by nature
Every 2 years or so i tend to go back to things i used to like as a kid. For example weekend marathons of DBZ, 1st season of pokemon, play some old pokemon games and whatnot.

But lol looks like i got another thing to add to the list, tbh i feel kinda nerdy and dumb playing this again lmao.

Ok this nigga ramp is saying I can't activate a quick play spell card when it's targeted to be destroyed by his card. OJuggernautO or anyone else can u clarify? I'm pretty sure I know that I can.

OJuggernautO If I use Ryko's effect to destroy a facedown spell, can my opponent activate it, if it's a quickplay spell?
Yes he can, as long as it wasn't set the same turn he's activating it. Like if it's his turn, he sets a quick play, attacks Ryko, and tries to activate the quick play, that doesn't work. But if he sets it, ends turn, and on your turn you flip Ryko to destroy it, he can activate it. RedRaptor10
