I need advice guys,i see everyone using dragons and stuff,how the hell am i gonna compete with zombies (fav/2nd fav) when they're so damn weak?All they can do is bring back monsters,for what purpose when all i can summon is a 2,4k monster tops without having vampire lords.

in the end i find my gameplay based around stalling,i might just start an exodia deck.

someone please recommend good cards in general,so far i have

Tin head scarecrow
Spellbinding circle
The chains one
Widespread ruin
Mist body
Monster reborn
Book of life

is it just me or are xyz and synchro stuff OP?Zombies only got 2-3 and i don't think they exceed 3k or have any decent abilities yet people can pull 4k atk dragons/5 3k+ dragons in a single turn,i've read about red eyes metal darkness being OP and i saw why at a certain point where i had 3-4 monsters summoned vs me.

so right now i got some weak zombies,swords of revealing light and all sorts of things that protect me,labyrinth wall,etc but can't find a way to start offense

If you want to win, you can't have "favorite" cards or decks. Zombies can win, there's some nice combos and nice deck builds of them. But competitively, they fall pretty short especially to dragons.

You don't need a zombie XYZ or Synchro monster to summon them. So there's many XYZ and Synchro's Zombies can use. You should play my Zombie deck, I can show you some stuff.

Everyone on here uses Swords of revealing light, lol. The card is decent at best, mst kills it plus a lot of other things.

What a lot of you guys need to do, aside from actually getting an extra deck, is having hand traps. What are hand traps? Cards like Maxx C, Veiler, Battle Fader, etc. So useful in this game. They seem like they wouldn't change much, but I've won a lot of matches due to these cards.

They certainly are not, you're just not using the right ones. In fact, Dino Rabbit is one of the best decks in the game. I need to play you and show you the brokeness

I got Exodia'd yesterday

Lul, I love playing Exodia decks with my hand/deck destruction set. Just one Needle Worm flip followed by a Soul Release and it'll potentially be all over and I'll just start whittling your deck down one by one.

Exodia is 1-9 against Needle Worm.

Competitively it's easy to stop. There's so many obstacles you have to jump in order to bring out Quasar. Most top tier decks will stop the play quick with simply just a Veiler in their hand. Other's stop it with solemn warning or something. But once it finally does come out, it's really hard to get rid of. Especially since when it goes to grave, it's effect allows me to summon Shooting Star Dragon, a 3300 atk synchro with a good effect.

Also, need to repeat this. Everyone try and make your deck limited to 40 cards. Having more just lends yourself to dead draws, you only need 40 anyway.

How?How do i make a secondary deck?What's the use of synchros and stuff.

i understand that they're basically guaranteed draws that come from other card combinations but thats all i know

People having more than 40 cards always puzzled me, its pretty easy to trim the fat from a large deck. I saw you posted about having a tym tourney. Please do this

First CCG I played was Starwars CCG waaaaaaay back in the day, even did Lord of the Rings for a time, once a nerd, always a nerd I guess.
