Come On Die Young
Let me tell you a short story about myself. I use marijuana recreationally. At the start of high school, I was a terrible student. I had little to no interest in anything academic, and spent almost all of my time out with friends or glued to the TV. Halfway through sophomore year, I started smoking weed because I found out that it isn't actually dangerous. My GPA went from a 2.5 to a 3.8 in only a short time, and went up to a 4.0 by the end of senior year. You know what the difference was between the teenaged alcoholics I knew and the teenaged stoners? The stoners were the ones in all the honors classes. I'm not saying it necessarily makes you more intelligent, but marijuana use doesn't have a demonstrable negative effect and doesn't even come close to the legal drugs out there today.I'm not telling anyone what to put in their bodies, it's about a questionable drug being legal or not...if people want to jump off a cliff, by all means let them but you have to consider, other people's actions can effect YOU in life too...
Hell, more people die from non-prescription medicine than weed. Because zero people have died from weed.
