I went into SCV with an open mind, I really did. I spent time working on Natsu, who is like Taki, the only character I EVER used in SC(back in SC1, the only SC I ever played before SCV). I have been working on her for a week, with setups, learning pressure strings, offense, defensive moves, etc. I feel like blocking in this game is irrelevant because moves start low but hit high, or start high and hit low. Ultimately, I don't understand 3d games, and that's just something I have to accept and move on. SCV might be a good SC game, but it's still a 3d game and I should have remembered that before I tried to like a 3d game. You win some, you lose some and I will continue to support SCV but I know when to fold em and this game just isn't for me.
LOL well I certainly appreciate that. The problem with Namco FG's goes back to Tekken 3 with me. I spent WEEKS learning advanced setups with King, all his throws, EVERYTHING. I then proceeded to lose to a mashing Eddy Gordo followed by a mashing Law and I quit Tekken forever after that. The only time I ever interacted with Tekken after that was to show my 50 year old mom that she could beat the game by mashing 1 button with Law... she beat the game on hard doing that...and she hated video games.
