I played an absolute shit ton of MK9 and it is pretty self-evident that MK1 combo system is more versatile.Last thing I'll say on this topic, if you think that the MK1 combo system is somehow inferior to MK9, then it's likely a skill issue.
Would ya look at that, me and @YagamiFire agree on something. That’s when you know it has to be true!I played an absolute shit ton of MK9 and it is pretty self-evident that MK1 combo system is more versatile.
As a personal preference I do not like how that versatility is implemented but that is purely a factor of taste. The objective reality is that it is more versatile.
We actually agree.I played an absolute shit ton of MK9 and it is pretty self-evident that MK1 combo system is more versatile.

Yeah it is, you have fully completed characters with extensive movesets in a very open and free system with a structured combo system.Last thing I'll say on this topic, if you think that the MK1 combo system is somehow inferior to MK9, then it's likely a skill issue.
You should lab more.
Who am I kidding? None of these people actually play the game.
cmon man , this has nothing to do with comoetative or casual players. He’s not a competitive player. Most people on here aren’t. If you’re complaining about combo variety, you’re most likely a casual. Which there’s nothing wrong with that, but once you realize that they’re casuals, a lot of the things they complain about or advocate for make a lot more sense.
Skill issue. Skill issue, skill issue, skill issue.Yeah it is, you have fully completed characters with extensive movesets in a very open and free system with a structured combo system.
People were literally begging fore the mk9/x combo system after mk11. And mk 1 is a worse itteration of it with kameos slapped on.
Its haliarious to see you and others lable switch a kameo to do a new bnb as this great variaty lol. You are basically owning yourself and dont even realise it.
That L is yours to hold.
Serious question. How can you hit Akuma FDC combos and Mishima triple EWGF combos but you at the same time aren't a competitive player? I legitimately don't understand what's happening lol.cmon man , this has nothing to do with comoetative or casual players.
im not a compeative professiaonal player anf i dont want to be but i do enjoy playing fighting games and especially interested in the combo systems.
so yeah i can execute stuff like akuma fdc tekken 7 death combos, triple electric combos etc so even though im not a competative player i sure hell know what im talking about when it comes to fighting game combo systems
So idk what your point is mentioning pros and casual in this converstions or trying to lable me the same as the people who cant execute a special cancle and complain about combos lol.
Why is that confusing to you?Serious question. How can you hit Akuma FDC combos and Mishima triple EWGF combos but you at the same time aren't a competitive player? I legitimately don't understand what's happening lol.
If you're doing advanced combos and such I just assumed you'd wanna actually test these things out against people lol. But I guess everyone does their own thing. Why is that confusing to you?
Combo execution is just one part of competative play, just because i enjoy to lab and practice high execution combos doesnt mean im automatically pro player or good at pvp or interested to grind all the other aspects to become one, like study all the frame data, grind out all match ups, neutral, gameplans , practice reads and reactions etc.
I play for fun and doing high execution combos and breaking combo systems and discovering its possibilities is also very fun and interestig to me.
When i play online i do exactly that, try to land the cool shit you found in the lab on other players its fun. I dont need to be a competative player to do that.If you're doing advanced combos and such I just assumed you'd wanna actually test these things out against people lol. But I guess everyone does their own thing.
I knew people who would just practice Johnny A-List run cancels in MKX but didn’t really know how to use him. I’d practice Liu Kang and Kitana combos cause the super advanced ones were fun but I’d get cooked using them lolIf you're doing advanced combos and such I just assumed you'd wanna actually test these things out against people lol. Yea it reminded me of dude from in Injustice, I think it was Doombawks or however you spell it. Man was the GOAT tech God with Bane, but legit never played player matches except once in a blue moon lol.I knew people who would just practice Johnny A-List run cancels in MKX but didn’t really know how to use him. Was common with characters that are kinda shit (not Injustice 1 Bane obviously) but have a lot going on. Like Joker maybe, who tf would want to actually have to use him, but labbing is fun.Yea it reminded me of dude from in Injustice, I think it was Doombawks or however you spell it. I’ve truly never seen someone try and fail to spell “competitive” 3 different times in the same post, AND spell it differently each time.cmon man , this has nothing to do with comoetative or casual players.

Wasn't he DerpLordDewgong on XBL?Yea it reminded me of dude from in Injustice, I think it was Doombawks or however you spell it. Man was the GOAT tech God with Bane, but legit never played player matches except once in a blue moon lol.
The speed turns me off, why TF are they comboing like they are drawing a character on paper though?Imagine thinking a random d2 in a combo is more hype than this:
All the NRS games kinda look like that though, like slapping two action figures together lolThe speed turns me off, why TF are they comboing like they are drawing a character on paper though?
This is your brain on MKX and anime fightersThe speed turns me off, why TF are they comboing like they are drawing a character on paper though?
It's because of how bad the proportions and animations are. I could do a near endless breakdown about how bad NRS' character stuff isAll the NRS games kinda look like that though, like slapping two action figures together lol
SF6 doesn't look this slowThis is your brain on MKX and anime fighters
