Just nitpicking here, wish the head would fly higher (don't feel the force here) and don't clip through the body, it should interact with the body for more dynamic, like rolling on the floor (if it would fly higher, nice wall bounce interaction too :laughing:)

No more stage interactions means also, no more stage brutals (the MK11 chainsaw is so good) sad, so my hope is for kameo brutals (imagine even a few universal co-op brutals with your kameo but I guess that would be too much to ask :laughing:)

Remember the restand tactic (meterburn throw) to have more freedom to combo into brutals in MKX? That was really cool, and would add up to the more combo heavy game compared to MK11 - please add

ps: NRS please make the requirements "easy" (hold a direction/button) but not automatic, meaning you have active the choice of killing or not (more freedom)
(example: I have never ever seen in a ranked match liu kangs flying kick brutal, so sad, it feels so satisfying and stylish. And I played every season until no more new brutals were added)

I prefer brutals over fatalities, to be honest. I get fatalities will always be there, but they get old soon and make you lose time. Brutalities feel more natural and integrated in the fight.

I always wonder why they didn't explore improving the custom fatalities they tried in Armageddon. Being able to create your own fatality gets old much slower than a predetermined video sequence. I assume technical limitations might be the reason why they abandoned that idea.

They also waste time with how slow the progress bar fills and the reward screen also pisses me off.

They were the most satisfying enders in MKX definetely not after that creepy time slowing finisher screen introduced.

Some brutality requirements are definitely way too complicated. Some literally force you to completely change your play stye to completely obvious one. I do wish they are a bit easier too but still not too easy. Also please get rid of that finish him screen and make it show up after your final combo is done, just like in MKX. It feels and looks so weird when it interrupts your combo.

That D2 brutality looks terrible btw. Even MK11's is better which also lacked impact.

Yeah for the fact they are universal (meaning even the random joe will pull them off), I wished they would add variations to it, so it's not as "boring".
Like character specific, sub zero "ice-spikes" his head and breaks the ice-spike off with a nice sound. Already would fit to his d2 animation. Or others with weapons would explode/slice the head, etc..
It could also work great with random variables in force (dynamic), so it's not always exactly the same way over and over again. (stale)

While on other games, I wouldn't mention it but I actually see how much love in details they put into these games (round ending taunts in MK11 is such a cool detail, multiple intros and outros to pick(!) awesome (so boring in SF only 1 ...)) but this is actually kinda lackluster.
While I do know they tuned brutals in the past (example Kabal scream in MK11), I hope they tune them here too.

ps: no kameo brutals is really sad, for example let's face it, stryker won't be playable, but him having some brutals would be cool. (I like the police brutality situation here :D)
Edit: Some here on other threads said only(!) kameos can do forward throws? Kinda strange but this would be a perfect opportunity for a kameo brutality situation, as MK11 had lots of throw brutals, even multiple for one direction.

... and when this is the last blow, mash X/A (for example :laughing:) and this animation repeats like 5 seconds (nice electric sound "BZZZZZZZZZZT") and then you (NRS) use a burning asset you have in store. Not much extra work ... maybe later down the line, who knows, hope won't die ... (they also added stage brutals later in MK11, if my memory don't trick me)

Didn't we get any new "hidden" Brutalities with Khaos Reigns?

Nothing for Noob, Sektor or Cyrax? Or how about all those 2 new one everyone got?
Even every Kameo got +1. Really nice @NRS, credit where credit is due.
I love such detail. MK11 with Shang was so cool, transforming in all ninjas by choose.

Here a list I know of:

(In KP1 most got stuff, I like Omnis the most.)

(MK1 tournament players, BackThrow then hold Up+2. No unlock needed.
Smash the viewer's screen and shock them who don't know :laughing:)

edit: Wow, I just noticed Omni-Man got his 5th brutal patched in? When did this happen? This wasn't here at release. Amazing, I always wanted that move to be a brutal (air 1,2,1+3 hold down). So General Shao Kahn, future Emperor of all, the master of brutality and wrath, is the only one in the entire game with 4?!(+2 like everyone else of course) Now that makes me extra sad, knowing Omni got his patched in. :(

Some of the new brutes only work against grounded ops and most of the time your combos end while juggles, they also don't work half of the time. For example Reptiles df1hold spit acid ball "Sizzle Away". Hope they address that in the upcoming patch.

While I have seen and recorded all 5 (except General, he only has 4) +2 kameo brutals from the "vanilla" game (fun times, ps5 30sec record + cut etc., is really fun), I am not even close to be done with all the newly added, I am also not in a hurry + spare time.

While I write this, I also noticed Darrius now also has 2 brutals instead of 1! (+1 new with khaos for all, of course) Wow, he also is brutal complete now. So THE General is actually the only one left, who is not complete. NRS please (I know you hate me, but please :()

Hint: I don't know when they added Omnis and Darrius, but those 2 should actually work in tournaments without unlocks. :D (The unlocked note is "default", just like the d2.)

ps: bug report: Kameo brutal finishers have always the new yellow icon, it does not disappear.

My favorite Reiko Brutality is one of the new ones that were just released. You hold down after landing his 34 and he slams his spear into his opponent's head while they lay on the ground. It causes some really funny ragdoll mechanics at times, but I just like the entire animation of it. It's short, sweet and to the point.

I just got reminded about Shujinko and I like to add some words here.

He has zero brutals but he also doesn't really have own specials, not even an own throw.
So I kinda see why he is left behind with brutals.
But I thought and hoped he might just get the brutals of his opponent, but sadly not.
Tested with Kitanas fan (hold back), Omnis clap (hold back), Reikos command grab (hold down).
I am too lazy to test all, but it's safe to say, none works, which is really sad.

I feel like, adding those brutal triggers attached to the exact same animation, shouldn't be too hard, right? (I would for sure play him, else he is just -3 brutals = not for me :()

Shujinko can perform kameo brutalities, but only against Shang Tsung: If you use "Mimic: Form Stealer" (down, back + kameo button), you turn into Shang's kameo fighter and can do their brutalities.

You completely become their kameo with the appearance (real clone, not just mimic.).
So yeah, maybe I should have mentioned it, but I feel like this so specific, it almost does not count.

I do start to see a MKX juggle throw restand direction. (Absolute great feature for swaggy brutal combos, they only added it for brutals, I think.) Smoke and Ghostface can easy restand mid air combo, so you can trigger all grounded brutals, nice. (With kameo help)

For the love of brutal hunters (hi iSuper :D), I would love to see an option, where throws triggering restand on overkill (meaning, it can only interact when your opponent has 0 health on impact, else no reaction at all.), into standing enders, keep the gravity, so we don't see endless combos :laughing:. Give it a juice 40frames window, before Finish Him starts, so most, if not all moves will also work, even without the right kameo.

I just unlocked and executed all 7 Ghostface brutals, love all of them. So much love in detail.
(The dev(s) behind the brutals, nails it, who is this person in the credits?)
