I’m not trying to spread misinformation, I just wasn’t as informed on this topic and was going off of what I read was reported. So I apologize for that.
However, what I do not apologize for is the fact that still the answers that people are coming up with is to throw money at the problem and hope it gets better.
To be a little fair to the community, it's not like there's much else that's likely to happen.
"put more money in the prize pool" is a much lower ask than "please rework the core of the game". One they could literally do this month, the other, even with good intentions and a team, will take time.
And to be fair to NRS, they have taken steps to make things better (as bitter as I am about sub). I don't think they love the current meta either and I'd be surprised if they let this rock, but it does suck that they tend to take so long on these issues.
I don't love the apologizing for the poor choices, but I also don't love demonizing the production because god knows it's never as easy as it looks at all, and that's BEFORE internal politics/bureaucracy/resources/etc.
But yeah...it's also hard to say "clearly they're trying" when you can just look at sub's kit and see what feels like a 90's/00's character that feels like they just mashed stuff together and has a shocking number of moves you never use or are just combo filler. It's really glaring to see in this day and age.
