It is better this way
I'm sad they removed the fusion coil grapple jumps. I think they did at least

Definitely a bummer, made for some cool speed runsI want to say they did.
It's a damn good game. People crap on it far too much.I play this game regularly online and it's really great.
That's coming with the Campaign Co-Op patch.... like being able to replay individual missions.
Yup, and that's usual with Microsoft's first party titles. They launch buggy and unpolished (sometimes outright broken), but the core gameplay loops are always fantastic and they have extremely high replay values. The developers always fix them up over time however, and once that polish is finally there, the games are fantastic.Been playing this game on and off online with a buddy over the last couple years and got to say that at this point, it's easily the best multiplayer experience the series has had to offer. Forge mode is silly deep, playlists are great, custom browsers are active enough. Game is tight
They made quite the comeback. The gameplay loop is incredibly solid, I think if it launched in this state it would be a top 3 Halo game as an overall package. If 343 would just get their shit together this game could still be huge, it’s not too late.Been playing this game on and off online with a buddy over the last couple years and got to say that at this point, it's easily the best multiplayer experience the series has had to offer. Sadly the case with far too many games today, and not just Microsoft first party titles. The launch was embarrassing,
Yea, that is definitely not unique to Microsoft or 343 by any means. It has been a cancerous reoccurrence in the video game industry for years now. The "liveSadly the case with far too many games today, and not just Microsoft first party titles.
Yeah. The way I go about things, I've chosen a select few companies who's games I will buy at launch (NetherRealm Studios, 343 Industries, and I'm seriously considering adding The Coalition to that list). Everyone else, I wait until their games are on sale/patched up.Yea, that is definitely not unique to Microsoft or 343 by any means. It’s only so egregious because we already have a standard of Halo to compare it to.Yea, that is definitely not unique to Microsoft or 343 by any means. It has been a cancerous reoccurrence in the video game industry for years now. The "live

But again, it's not limited to Halo. Bad launches have happened to a host of video game franchise from a wide variety of developers and publishers, including established ones and franchises that are long running. It’s only so egregious because we already have a standard of Halo to compare it to.
No, I agree with you, all of them and MORE, COD MW3 is a fucking disaster. But I don't play those shit games (except Capcom, they've killed it with Resident Evil and DMC for the big releases). Its the standards of the series it fails to meet, not the pathetic "standards" of modern gaming. But again, it's not limited to Halo. Just of the top of my head: 343 Industries, NetherRealm Studios, Naughty Dog, Capcom, Respawn Entertainment, Blizzard Entertainment, The Coalition, etc.
This also summarizes so many games today, and for several different reasons. It all just screams of needing more time to bake,

They've done some good quality of life improvements in Campaign too, and I'm very pleased they added in Campaign Co-Op.This game is so damn fun online, I just wish that this was the game we got in 2021. The core mechanics are the best in the series I’m convinced. The sand box is incredible minus the shock rifle maybe being a little too strong against vehicles in BTB.
I hope that in Halo 7 they can produce this quality AT LAUNCH. You know what they say. 4th times a charm.
I’m going to continue playing this game till I feel like there’s a better shooter. Halo will always be my FPS of choice, I’m just dumbfounded how they could get so much right and nail the core gameplay, movement, and sandbox but come up with so little in 6 years.
It’s pretty clear this won’t be the 10 year game they said it would, hopefully 343 finally gets their shit together. Maybe the next game won’t have 2 creative directors leave and end up giving us 6 maps at launch after a 6 year development cycle.
In truth, I've found for many years now private games with friends is the way to go.I like infinite but, as with other shooters, I am really tired of shitty SBMM. Not because of my opponents but rather my booger eating smooth brained teammates always ruining the experience.
