I had a glitch happen: my main character went a little closer to the screen and I couldn't hit my opponent and stayed like that until the end of the match andveven on the win screen. Goid thing I played Johnny and my fatal worked. Didn't get to record it though.

My Sub-Zero theory was half right at least. I need to hopefully find a better way to do this. There might be a way to knock them into the clone.

 
I totally sucks at amplified specials. Keep pressing R2 after the command, not at the sime lol. It was different in MK11, right? It feels so weird.

I've played with Kitana and Li Mei.

Kitana feels a lot better than her trashy version of MK11. I'm glad. Didn't notice how purple her sash was on the previous gameplays. It is a nice touch.

Li Mei feels a bit odd at first. Her special kick on the ground feels a bit lackluster (the lion kick, or something like that). She's fun, but I'll need some practice mode with her.

The lion kick is amazing. 7f, punishes pokes, good wake-up, godlike AA. The only thing bad is it’s punishable, as it should be

Maybe if you call jax, jump and switch sides?
I don't think Sub has anything that gives him that much time, besides a freeze, but that point you'd probably be better off finishing the combo than resetting them. I'd like something that works off slide because that's his basic combo ender

Yeah, I thought that might be the case. Wish I could help, I really like to lab.

I'm not liking how the hitstop works in this game, everything feels telegraphed and the animation and hitstop could use some tweaking overall.
 
Li Mei is very centrally designed around lantern. All her specials that aren't lantern are designed for synergy off lantern, F43, 434, 124 all for lantern.

And if you touch a lantern she pretty easily takes a third of your lifebar if she has assist open.

Mids are definitely what she struggles with

i'm playing MK1 for the first time. i just went through all movesets and i gotta say: NRS' design of movesets and frame data looks WAY more thoughtful than in mk11 & x. still some sick character concepts, but reasonable frame data and tradeoffs for the insane stuff. they might be nailing this one... but i'll not get hyped too early :laughing:.

How is Kitana compared to other characters? I’m having trouble in neutral with her. B24 is the only good mid but too slow at 15f.

I'm still getting used to everything, but wow wow Johnny is such a blast to play from all the little details of his fans crying out to his moveset in general. Kitana I also tried and am having fun on.

Frost might be my favorite kameo so far, though I need to keep testing.
 
It’s likely one of those assists that have amazing up front power but fall off after a while. Kinda like how Sonya was top tier at the beginning of MK11 but fell off after her on paper potential tapped out really fast
