lmao I detest the appearance of them all, Juggs. An absolute loathing.

And calling Scorpion a “Lin Kuei” legend just feels filthy. But it’s not Scorpion anyway, that dude will never be.

Gameplay wise sure…but looks and not being Hanzo? A hard forever no from me.

That’s fine. I personally don’t give a shit “who” they are under the mask. All I care about is gameplay. And his gameplay is as authentic to the real Scorpion as any other iteration of the character from what I’ve seen

I agree with game play…I have no interest in the story at all.

But…his appearance as a whole is party city tier.

This is how a child would look at a costume party.

That goes double for Smoke who has a haircut I could see on Dennis the Menace. He looks like an actual toddler.

You’re entitled to your opinion. I think they both look decent. Not perfect (or great), and I prefer Smoke with either the hood & ninja mask or the long hair, but I also understand what they’re trying to do with the redesigns. They just didn’t do a great job with them. But they did with other characters, like Rain for example. But I’m also expecting either gear customization or alt skins, so I’m not too worried about it either way.

I guess for Kameos it depends, on who’s good and fits my main character. I do want to get the most out of my mains.

I am very interested in seeing some Takeda gameplay. The dual razor whip design is so cool, he was just a bit too slow and awkward in MKX for my taste. If he feels a little snappier this time, I could definitely see him being my main.

Sub-Zero beyond a shadow of a doubt. I’d play him no matter what as always but we still got ex ice ball eating projectiles, we got slide of course, we have klone punch, a (correct me if I’m wrong) safe dive kick, the ice hellfire thing, we got overheads, we got lows, we got the ice klone (even if it looks like it doesn’t last very long). He looks like an absolute blast to play and could be scary anywhere on the scene. He looks scary to try and zone and you might not want him in your face either.

I’m likely going to use Sub-Zero cameo too. Iv played him so long that my brain automatically connects reading a projectile with immediately sending ex ice ball to the point that it ruins even objectively better characters for me. My Injustice 2 Sub was better than my Batman in like 3 weeks despite being a much worse character because of reasons like this. Kano cameo seems to compliment him well too, Scorpion cameo with the spear away looks good too. Maybe Johnny Cage cameo if he has nut punch so I can get that restand if I wanna mix again :joker:

However in MK1 I want to actually learn a second character instead of playing Sub and feeling good, then having like 5 characters I’m kinda shit with. I wanna have Sub and someone who compliments him that I feel confident in picking just as much. Front runners are Scorpion, Johnny Cage, Mileena, Smoke, and Takeda.

Unless they catastrophically fuck up Reptile's gameplay (as in, remove his forceballs - looking at you MK4/MKDA/MKA), he's 100% going to be one of my main chars. Scorpion so far looks very much my type of gameplay as well - fast, flashy, teleports, ranged normals, hellfire, everything I loved about MKX Scorpion is back. Very curious about Baraka, Mileena, Li Mei, and Raiden. Also liked Sub-Zero. Damn I lowkey can't handle mostly everyone looking so fun to play as.

Doubt I'll enjoy this game because I really don't like the Kameo feature but if somehow I do enjoy it, Smoke of course. If Reptile is in, Smoke becomes secondary.

I usually play Raiden and usually know who else I want to play as immediately but I'm not really in hype mode yet even though I think the game is looking great.

Funny enough I'm actually more interested in thinking about kameos. If Raiden also has a kameo I bet that guy will be giving us the funny noises.

Tbh they all look FANtastic. Probs Kitana as a main as she’s my favourite character, but soooo looking forward to trying Smoke, Tanya, and Li Mei! Maybe Mileena if she isn’t as boring as in MK11?

Kitana, Mileena, Tanya, Reiko, Sonya, Raiden... Li Mei and Baraka both look really fun to play. I don't know, there are too many characters I like!
