Kiss the Missile
Red Messiah
Gameplay? I really doubt it. Prob a cinematic teaser and title reveal
it's a good idea though : )Man you will probably get fired just for suggesting it.
Once the trailer hits I expect a media blitz like what Tekken did with a new trailer ever week or even ever few days. I also expect the Kombat Kasts to come back as well.Gameplay? I really doubt it. Prob a cinematic teaser and title reveal
That's my expectations too. However.... I'm trying to will the gameplay into existence. Chanting-hibbitybibbitybippityboppitychoppityflippityflailerProbably a CG reveal this week with a gameplay reveal either at the Sony showcase or SGF
Message L shaped. What's that about?Gameplay this week??
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGameplay this week??
Knowing Ed, they won't show shit this week and it'll be an L for the fans and a big ole LOL for Boon.Message L shaped. What's that about?
How are you liking your Xbox Series S so far?Supported platforms is what I’m currently most interested in. It will probably determine if I stay with PS4 or go with Xbox Series S.
Yeah, they typically have to do that for the Series S as it's GPU is roughly similar to a GTX 1060 but with the ability to do ray tracing.Going back to the S, the demo on S currently makes a lot of concessions and I think they may have had to dial stuff back for it since the beta but don't really know how to say for sure.
If it's using Unreal Engine 5, then that'll be the case since old hardware can not run that engine. If it's Unreal Engine 3 still, or Unreal Engine 4, then there's a good chance it will be cross-generation since the base PlayStation 4 has such a huge install-base over current generation systems.Making the game for anything less than the current gen consoles and PC would be a huge mistake. It is time to put the PS4 in the trash. Stop gimping games to run on it. PS5, XboX or PC should be the only targets.
I don't have one. I'm deciding whether to get one or not. SF6 is coming out for PS4, so if MK12 comes out for PS4 I'll stick with PS4. If MK12 is only available on newer consoles, I'll likely go with either Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X.How are you liking your Xbox Series S so far?
Ah, I see. If you're able to swing it, I'd recommend the Series X over the S for obvious reasons.I don't have one. I'm deciding whether to get one or not. Long term plan is to go with a gaming PC, but first I need to finish off my basement and put in an office.
Not to be selfish as a PC player, but I really hope they left PS4 / Xbone behind and designed the game entirely for current gen. Size, graphical fidelity, engine -- everything turned up to utilize current gen to its peak.I don't have one. I'm deciding whether to get one or not. Keep in mind, current gen consoles (and I mean specifically PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X) are struggling to hold native 1440p now at 60 FPS. A far cry from the promise of native 2160p. I'm curious where the peak for this gen actually is, since we're already below initial performance targets at target resolutions.everything turned up to utilize current gen to its peak.

My biggest complaint at this point with including last gen is load speed. When I run into someone online and it takes forever to load a match I'm left assuming the other guy clearly isn't running on an SSD and I don't want to jump into a crossplay situation where a bunch of the player base is dramatically inflating load times for everyone they run intoNot to be selfish as a PC player, but I really hope they left PS4 / Xbone behind and designed the game entirely for current gen. Interestingly, you can pop an SSD into an Xbox One X and things work fine, apparently. So wasn't game breaking on Microsoft's platform. My biggest complaint at this point with including last gen is load speed. I really wish the PS4 Pro had upped the drive speed, but given how games are made, it probably wasn't technically possible without risking games breaking
My experience being a child owner is that the only real time I have to game is when the child is asleep, after doing dishes/putting the house back together, and if I don't decide to try and go to be early myself. We also don't do any screen time for him or in front of him, so I've never had to worry about him breaking anything. I don't think he realizes videogames are something we own.In a few years when my fiancee and I do the kid-thing, I'm thinking of putting the Series X away and buying a Series S (maybe refurbished), so if the kid damages it, it's not the end of the world.
Obviously still a few years away for me, just thinking ahead. I'm thinking of when the baby is just crawling around, as my Xbox Series X is low to the ground in my entertainment unit and is easily accessible to a crawling baby. A Series S could go higher up given the different form factor. My experience being a child owner is that the only real time I have to game is when the child is asleep, after doing dishes/putting the house back together, and if I don't decide to try and go to be early myself. Considering how vulnerable every single NRS games' PC ports have been to flagrant cheating, I don't think we're ever getting it.Here I am as a PC player waiting for crossplay for eternity
I don't know about the Xbox side of things but you can still put an SSD in a PS4 but it doesn't make it go faster really. The hardware has a set expectation it enforces as I understand it. Devs sometimes use known timings to develop around. Locked FPS timing is generally a good example like when unlocking higher framerates on ports or mods introduce game logic breaks. Like HZD on PC animating hair and cut scenes incorrectly since the original game was only expected to run at 30fps. Some similar, less obvious stuff could happen around load times since they were fixed. Even if not, you still have to think about the possibility of it when upgrading hardware that has to be 100% backwards compatible and failure there is not allowed.Interestingly, you can pop an SSD into an Xbox One X and things work fine, apparently.
