The only thing I didnt like about those matches was sonicfox not getting stomped on. Repeatedly getting out of the way and punishing appropriately. Hopefully NRS didnt see that and sheeva still gets nerfs lol.

Not gonna hang out in here cause of spoilers yet, but man, first game first match absolute slam dunk for the custom variation system. Good job NRS.

I kinda feel bad for Kombat. It was looking so well for him and it looked like he didn't need to sweat at all. Then a loss to SonicFox completely ruined his momentum. I expected Sonic going 7-0, 2-5 for VGY however I did not. Only ArnKratos was convincing enough, everyone else's performance was average at best.
I think it's harsh to call everyone else's performance average when it was as stacked as it was. Everyone played 7 games and 3 of them were 4-3. If they played any better than that the other peoples would have to been far below average. For Sonic and Arnold to be convincing there's gonna be a couple of people less convincing. I think the only average play really was from 2ez.

Stacked or not, if you drop basic combos and make stupid mistakes like trying to hit Jade with Sheeva's fireball stance while Jade has a glow on, what else do you call that? Honestly, if I didn't know who was playing I wouldn't believe that was Foxy.

Tournament nerves. Have you ever made top 16? Have you ever made top 16 at a massive event like this? It’s super easy to criticize the play sitting on your couch in your PJ’s at home. js

No shit Sherlock. You think I'm comparing this to the KL sessions when they play vs noobs? I watch pretty much every tournament. Imo this was the worst Foxy's performance ever. I thought I can share my opinion on a public forum without being top player myself. FFS...

You asked “what else do you call that?”, I was answering you. You can share whatever opinion you want, just as others can share their opinion of your opinion. It goes both ways amigo.
Can we stop with the "you haven't done x so your opinion isnt valid" thing? I also haven't won an academy award, but I can call out if an actors preforms is subpar. Tourney nerves do play a part but we should be able to say if their play was below what they're capable of
Never said that. Posting an opinion criticizing someone doesn’t mean you yourself are now all of a sudden devoid of criticism yourself. It’s interesting how some people have no issues criticizing others, but then can’t take criticism in return. Kinda makes you think, eh?

Everyone makes mistakes... but if your jetlagged and haven't practiced mutch recently going against the clutch factor x10000 sonic fox. Nerves can be a huge issue. This isn't KL where only 2 people see the match. Foxy is a great player everyone knows that.

Man, the fundamentals on display in this TM vs. Dragon set.. Spacing, the whiff punishes, anti-ars, flawless block, clutch play, the adjustments, and TM’s use of Kabal’s mobility.. I love it. What a ridiculous set.
