Her amp low grab causes a bleed if the opponent moves at all. Walk, dash, or run, any of it.

Look at that damage! No is gonna want to eat all of that. you grab a zoner and watch them try to squirm away and lose a massive chunk of health lmao. Once they get to afraid to move after you land it you get all the free pressure you want.
That is an intense amount of damage from that... Talk about a frustrating way to close out a round.

Their only option is to land an attack and combo you until the timer on the bleed runs out. Unfortunately for them the attack itself ends in a knockdown so she gets to enforce oki immediately haha.

Been in the lab with her for about an hour and I just wanna say she has pretty excellent but reasonable frame data.

10 frame mids, 12 frame mids, bunch of -2 strings(perfect for stagger mind games), gapless plus frames off ex fireball, stomp mind games, overhead seems alright, sweep too. NRS really came through for Sheeva this time, she is fast in relevant ways. Telestomp start up is pretty quick so she'll have a legit counter zoning option on deck.

I'm pretty sold on her ex fireball, stomp mix ups, quake and anti-air grab primarily because her down 2 doesn't look that impressive and down 2 is 9 frames, anti-air grab is 10 so not a substantial difference plus it can combo.

I'll have to try the others later, but she definitely feels like a labor of love <3.

Downloading the patch now, can't wait. I think with her and Shang my main team will be complete.
Makings of a good team.

Sheeva will definitely be able to hold her own against the speedier characters in the game, which was one of my fears so she'll compliment Shang nice I suspect. She feels fun too which is great. I'm heavily conflicted cause I wanna keep Jade on the squad but Sheeva got it going on.


Also something you'll be pleased about: In low health scenarios where your opponent has 5% or less and you are low on health in Fb range, they cannot block anything from Sheeva because Forward 4,4, fatal blow does over 7% chip lol. Really close sets with her are gonna be crazy for the opponent with that alone and that's not counting her safe means of chip she can do as well in low health scenarios.

did a no lab time ft5 with a friend who did the same with Fujin.

3 things i noticed.

  1. Her stomp is fucking strong in this game, that delay is no joke.
  2. B3, the OH go like halfscreen and doesnt decent damage, it feels pretty great.
  3. her sweep is almost as far, she has a half screen low and a halfscreen OH, pretty funny.
What low are you talking about? I noticed she has tons of overheads but the lack of lows is jarring...

^ mid-tier, her movement speed is pretty fast considering how big she is, but she ain't Kotal fast. V3 is the way, been having so much fun with it.

V3 Every touch is a horrible mix between stagger or db4 bf4 or bf3 d.
V2 strong neutral control db2 is After b122 for plus frames or mb for spacing and -2.
V1 i feel like will be less good as time goes.

V3 is everything you'd want from Sheeva if you played her in Mk9

Her d2 has like no recovery at all you can do d2 d2 if you catch them on a crossup LOL

d2 21 bf4 mb 21 db4 is really easy if you catch them high

How would you guys compare V3 Sheeva w/ Dark Fate Terminator? Both grapplers w/ a run sort of move.
Not that similar.

I assumed they would be from the KK but I misunderstood what I was seeing.

In actuality her run leads into three different kicks. Just doing it straight you get a plus on block high kick, good to mix into her pressure. If you hold up at any point she does a launching high kick(it’s just f3) instead that allows her to do combos. This is her go to combo starter cancel out of strings. Holding down will give you an overhead that switches sides(it’s just b3)

All options but the first cost meter. This is a great tool to condition people who want to block low all the time(on top of her low grab), making them scared enough to stand up. When they do you can use meter to cancel the run raw and you can just input her low grab and catch them. This isn’t instant though so it really relies on good conditioning.

Like Terminator though she does have a run distance based KB, but it’s not something you should expect to get on smart players.

She does not have a grab out of run. Her two grabs are separate attacks.

Buttons wise she has waaaaaaayy more range than he does on a lot of her stuff by she also has stubby low pokes and d2 as a downside.

Wow the devs gave her the easiest brutalities in the game for some reason, I ain’t complaining though.

her v3 has mad mindgames

Dang, took a sec but that run cancel is a tight link for me. I could get it eventually but I can't find rhyme or reason for why the last DB4 sometimes reaches and sometimes doesn't.

Honestly she doesn’t really need them.
Really? What are her viable KBs? Some of hers don't seem viable at all to me. That and her pokes were the issues I see with her thus far.
