Having fucking Rambo instead of a cyborg or ninja is indeed disappointing. I mean, they could've thrown away Terminator, Robocop and the Joker and have Mileena, Smoke and Sektor instead.

Whatever, I'm not complaining. I get my three favorites on this one - Havik, Noob and Baraka.

I am starting to think this is fake.. or at least not set in stone... sounds like it's still early in developments and those were ideas that they threw out in the air at some point, I find it hard to believe Mileena will not make it in, and even regardless of Mileena, I find it hard to believe that this story that was so focused around women will turn out to be all about men with 1 female dlc left.. like nah.

This isnt like Frost who was a weak character given a fresh new take or Sheeva who got a much better redesign. Taeven and Daegon have virtually no defining characteristics and are based on a plot thread that was basically retconned out of existence. You basically have to make them entirely new characters. Reiko too.

I'm not really irritated about this either because I've always viewed MK11+MKX as a pair which I never did with 9, probably because you can play both on PS4 (and X still has folks that play). So Roster Inclusions haven't infuriated me as much as it would other people/fanbases

Because when you pair both rosters together you get a heap of characters from the 3D Era, New Characters, Classic Characters and a bunch of Guests.

No Ash sucks but the only MK characters I'd like to see back again that haven't gotten their shot are Kai, Kintaro, Nitara and Ashrah. That list used to be way bigger before the release of X.

My hang up is how can Fujin, Sheeva, and Robocop be both in the Aftermath Pack and Kombat Pack 2?

My source told me that the guy who made the thread/leak is an individual who has shared info to my source's 'friends' and almost everything he says turns out to be true. I trust my source, but I admit the leaker gets verified through a third party.

Basically it's like this:

I trust you.

I hear that BarakaTile leaked the entire remaining DLC

You tell me that BarakaTile has told/leaked stuff to some friends of yours, and everything BarakaTile told them turned out to be true.

That's how this guy is 'verified' through my source.

NRS has continued on their pattern of no repeat DLC and I don't see that changing to have Shinnok, Quan Chi, Takeda or the implied but cancelled Tanya who was just dlc last game. These seem like thirsty follow up leaks. If they didn't have so many base roster last game or repeat DLC claims I might consider it but I think that alone shuts it all the way down.

Now, I admit, if I didn't have a legit source verify this, I wouldn't believe it.

All those guys are assists.

If it ends up being 100% legit, that means the assist-deconfirmation rule no longer applies.

Right now I have a guy on reddit messaging me and telling me that Ermac is going to be in the roster as well as a Triborg 2.0 (I have no idea if he speaks the truth)

It's madness! The floodgates are open.

It’s funny how people choose to believe leaks not based on reliability/credibility, but if what the leak contains is characters they want or not.

Anyway, Human Smoke isn’t in these leaks so it’s fake.

I must've read about ten leaks containing Havik.

This is the first I actually believe.

It's just a really not a believable leak from a non-reliable source with a picture he's keeping for himself and plot that makes no sense?

That's an option too ya know

I remember when I read the March leak.

Terminator? The Joker? Time travel? 10 DLC characters? I called bullshit so fast the word literally flew out of my mouth.

And yet … it ended up being the real deal.

That one I was actually a believer, it made sense. I even posted the interview where Ed mentions Robocop and Terminator before Robo was datamined. It has variety that made sense. This one sounds like someone sat at a Lore meeting at NRS and wrote down every idea that was presented and made a mish-mash out of it...

Top happiness: Reiko and Sareena.

Nice to see you return: Havik and Quan Chi.

Curious: Daegon and Taven/Shinnok.

Look, that weird Taven/Shinnok could be worked into this variation system. Maybe it would allow Taven to have a moveset more leaned to Shinnok's side, or more to his own.

Seeing Reiko, Sareena and Quan Chi coming back allied with D'Vorah makes me think this is a good opportunity to have a story somehow centered around the Brotherhood of the Shadow.
Quan Chi fucking angry at Shinnok and probably wanting to kill him is basically MK4 Quan Chi and I love that.

In this whole time-travel mess, Reiko could be like "fuck everything!" and he probably wants to kill Kitana to claim the Kahn's helmet (and power lol)

Let's see what happens.


Oh, and Rambo.... yes, that's something NRS would absolutely do. This is probably the legiest thing in this leak.

The Rambo part is the only thing I find believable at this point,
I don't see how the rest would excite any of the fans/newcomers and generate sales, knowing NRS they would have to make it way more gimmicky than that to make it work.
