New Nightwolf Render!

Nightwolf is possibly going to be the next character coming to Mortal Kombat 11. And following a Sindel tease last week, and a axe tease the week before, Ed Boon is giving us a look at Nightwolf's modern console face.

Since he's a shaman, I wouldn't mind seeing some more moves that emphasize that, such as the ability to summon his wolf spirit guides in battle

Could not be more stoked about Night Wolf. The small amount we have seen so far looks amazing. I'm hoping they really got creative with his skins and gear because as a native American warrior there is so much potential for him to look sick.

I'm pretty bored with the other cast members at his point and I really hope they don't do him dirty

PLZ LORD I AM COUNTING MINUTES FOR HIS RELEASE

 

If they are keeping on the one a month train, Shang Tsung was released June 18th which would mean Nightwolf(or sindel) would release next week.

But then again thats only if its one a month.

 

I really hope they don't go the sjw route with him and make his whole existence a spokesperson for "his culture". Too a degree that's to be expected but I'm native american and when I see stuff like that its pure cringe. Let him be a complex character.

Yeah, I was going to say, fully expecting his awesome shaman magic to be absent from tournament variations. Or in one variation that has no kombo ability at all.

The thing is that everything they've shown of him is human. I would absolutely love it if it turns out that he's somehow cleansed himself and become human again.

I am curious about the choice of words from Boon. "Oh, you're sending the WOLF?" It could be nothing, but it could also imply that he will have a Spirit Wolf/Wolf special of some kind. I can't wait to see what they do. NRS has to know that a character like Nightwolf needs some extra love to appeal to the casual fans or those who started playing MK with MKX. It shouldn't to make Nightwolf appealing....he is only the best but underrated character they have ever created.

 

I wonder which one of the two - Nightwolf / Terminator(Arnie, cuz leaked intros suggests it's him) - will be more grappler based character with commands grabs. I love cmd grabs characters lol
