Im PROMISING you, Under The Mayo knows their shit. B2 isnt stubby, the 4 may be, but dont let b2 whiff like you do. Problem solved. Idk if I agree with Cassie being braindead, but she is a character that never HAS to take a risk, which I find to be bullshit.

All I'm saying is that she's not braindead and requires some execution when it comes to her combos especially. Sure she has amazing tools but doesn't mean she's braindead to use. Any person can spam low gunshot just like anyone can spam any move, but it's not the character's fault if you aren't doing something about it.

Yes, we all saw the minor list of what to do against her. I lab her plenty. My training partner her mains her. She plays herself. B24 and F4 are ridiculous. Never needs to spend meter to set up anything so she can always EX up kick and be 0 on block. Auto play.

EX Glow Kick is such a belligerent move in conjunction with her B2

I really like how NRS handled Sub Zero. Ice Clone was a really iconic move. It must have felt like some blasphemy at first to take it away. But they made the tough decision to remove something about the character because it just was not compatible with the heavy neutral focused footsie game they were going for.

...then there's Scorpion, who somehow was 100% exempt from this consideration

I mean, shes a top character. Some characters dont have an answer to her low shots.When she uses f4, some characters barely have an answer for that. You know that i play a lot of Sonya. People are going to call these characters braindead. We know that we put a lot of thought and energy into the characters, so we dispute that. But characters in general in this game are easy to learn, Ive put time in with like 18 characters now. Scorpion, Cassie, and Liu are the easiest characters in fighting games to play. They take the least thought. Cassie would be the same character if you took away everything but f4, gun, and nutpunch. Now, you can play Casie at a high level with tons of thought, but youll be deciding when to do things, not what to do. Cassie already tells YOU what todo. Shoot til theyre close enough to kick, restand, repeat.

F2 slide is good. F2 on its own literally does nothing. No one in the world would risk going for a 19f move for 2% damage and be -3 on hit.

Theory fighting is bad.

When folks have trouble reacting to the move online...it being 19F don't mean much. And the mixup goes for 14% damage and knockdown from the throw.

Of course one would be better off to just keep doing overhead slide most of the time, but the overhead throw is simply a further mixup that can be used if need be.

Yeah we do put a lot of effort into learning them and getting better with them, and even if they need a bit of adjusting I wouldn't say they're braindead I feel like it's a salty complaint and will always be. Like I said on the first page of this thread, no character is braindead, only the way people play them.

I agree Cassie does tell you what to do, to a certain extent. I still think she's 'hardest' to learn just because her combos are ticky as hell, but that may just be because I'm still a noob when it comes to fighting games.

Sure it involves mindgames, mixup's...just some tools are really good for that....to the point that online they can feel too good when compared to someone who doesn't have the same.

I'm a she. And I'm not saying Cassie's not a top character, I'm saying some people are exaggerating a lot since they see people let her get away with dumb shit online. What I said about low shot holds against teleports, whether you like it or not.

I detest the attitude of the OP, but Geras and Erron seem to be the two that take the least effort to be successful because of how much damage they do with just a few buttons. Most other characters at least have to worry about dropping a combo.

Subzero is boring simple, but not braindead. You can't gimmick out wins with him. If you guys can't block his OH axes, it's your problem.

Sorry if I come aggressive, but I get constantly trash talked online because of subzero, a character I use since MK1.

I'm not going to comment on Sub balance because i've already said my piece in multiple threads but I will say that Scar set shouldn't be used as an example Scar looked horrendous in that set I have no idea what he was doing imo, Dude looked like he'd never seen Sub zero in his life lol
