Got the Fire God Blue from the Gauntlet which was a freaking grind let me tell ya lol, I feel so happy because most players don't have it because they won't make it through that shit lol. I did it in 3 days straight of grinding, a pain in the ass lol. The red one from Shang was a breeze in comparison, it's cool but I'll use the Gauntlet one to make people jelly once they see it! hehe.

BTW, I use his Wu Shi variation, imo very underrated. I enjoy it a lot.

It's a cool skin there in the Shang tower, but don't those of us who finished the gauntlet already have access to that skin by using the blue one and then using the Start key to start the match?

And I imagine if you select this one and then use the Start key you'll end up sporting the Gauntlet one, which isn't really a big deal but it kind of diminishes all the pain/tedium of running the whole gauntlet.

His teleport stance gives him a slight buff damage wise to any of his fire moves which are fireball and flying kick, more damage is always good. And his teleport moves are fast and all different as one is overhead, high and a low. I've confused the hell out of people mixing them up from a far. In Dragon, he also has a projectile parry that stuffs out zoning tactics against him. I know his other variation is way more popular, has the general parry, low fireball etc I just enjoy wu shi and do better personally with that style.

The buff is SAFER than Luohan Quan's cancel...proofs?

In Luohan Quan, B12 + Shaolin Stance Cancel (on second hit) = -12 on block

In Wu Shi Legend, B12 + DB4 (on second hit) = -8 on block

I enjoy more doing pressure with the teleport variation...

Honestly, worth a try but to be honest from my experience I couldn't say either way since I haven't faced any Cetrions in ranked lol. Not one. He loses the low fireball and the general parry but still has the projectile parry. He's fun!

Do you find that projectile parry is actually useful? It doesn't look very useful

FACT: 12 string is composed of two high hits

FACT: High hits will hit if the opponent is crouch blocking and will whiff if the opponent is neutral crouching

Fun Fact: Depending on your stance, the second hit (the 2) will either whiff or hit a crouch blocking opponent.

How do you guys handle the Jax and Jaqui matchups?

Zone both of them out as much as possible. Low fireball is better for keeping Jaqcui away while the teleport stops Jax from counter zoning with heat missiles.

I just wish LK had a better mix up with hit's to lows, I feel everyone knows to block low with his kick starters now. I do get people with his B2, D2 string when mixed up with his kicking strings. His F2 is ok. Good for juggles if connected.

I feel they had a plan for Liu Kang and the nerfs came early for him without any thought.
F2 into a punishable high - why... How does it make sense? The F43 u3 string had a flawless block gap with a different mind game.

It is what it is - I wish they could fix F2 to have another purpose than being in combos. ALSO Wushi Legend that projectile parry...perhaps allow the anti air potential you see or allow it as a safe special strike or allow it to contest zoning....

You can zone jacqui if you dont want to deal with her upclose, but wheres the fun in that.
I like to stay in their faces. Jacqui being the better rushdown character is difficult. As for Jax, definitely not as good as Jacqui up close but harder to zone so I stay in his face. and mix it up with my tools

Sometimes b2, or 33 or f4,3 since they can pike or interrupt you on the last string I listed.
