That fire tornado move is the shit too... I was really looking forward to labbing setups with that. Now, unless they change the variation thing I probably won't even mess with it beyond 10 minutes.

Right. Funny thing is, after the beta, I remember everyone saying Scorpion will be useless without Misery Blade. Yet I don’t think I’ve played a single Scorpion player who uses it.
I remember those days. Just comes to shows what everybody's potential could be when you have a variety of moves to make YOUR ideal character, not these neutered ass tournament variations. And NO giving us a 3rd variation for each character will NOT help either. Just give us Customs. Problem solved!

im more upset that the trailer has one scene where he uses 4 ninja moves and that literally isnt possible in any mode of the game at all. thats just false advertising and lying to the players. but yes they used the ninjas as marketing for him so i get why some people are mad about that
I don't get why anyone thinks that'll open things up. It'll likely crunch things down. If you add a variation to every character that's "best possible" that isn't suddenly going to make this an MvC game where everyone has BS that can compete. You're just going to find out that 2 or 3 characters are REALLY fucking broken with a specific combination of moves and everyone will play them.
Ranked is for cheetofingers and high functioning autistics.
I think with the toned down offense that they didn't want to give you too many easy setup tools for throw/strike checks and whatnot.

you misunderstand my friend. the ninjas are all equip moves, there are 4 of them. you are only allowed 3 ability slots. you can not have every ninja in your moveset its literally impossible in any and every mode this game has
