@Circus already did that with me. It took me actually taking Kano into the lab afterwards and doing the moves myself to learn these things. Because the properties on those moves aren't as they appear to be. Kano's real lows are his F2 and the second hit on his 2, 4, 1+3, but he can get a good chunk of damage off of those.
F2 could be blocked low and is actually -14 so it's very punishable.

Yeah 1v1s are really important in games like this. Just like Reed said, you get MU knowledge and you also find tricks or mind games you can play with your main. Prople avoid casual matches or 1v1 private matches cause honestly we all fear having a bad w/l ratio but we gotta get over the fear of loses cause it’s the only way we actually get better. A win is just the reward of that training.
Yeah I totally get it, that’s the main draw for this site, haha. I just know I’ll never, ever, be on that level, nor will I ever enter a professional tournament like that... so no point in me pretending, and limiting myself. I feel like the game was designed around custom variations, and I find them to be much more fun, so that’s all I’ve played exclusively. The only times I’ve touched tournament presets were in these KOTH matches... and with no prior practice whatsoever, it did not go well at all, lol.
Ah damn. It was weird since usually, our matches are not laggy at all. Youtube does suck a lot of internet juice.

I had the same problem. I've just started picking different characters when I go ranked to keep from 50/50ing myself at the player select. Hopefully they'll patch in more tourney variations with the DLCI tried... lol. But no customs just makes me feel helpless and sad. With my most-used moves missing, and new ones I’m not familiar with... Almost feels like playing a new character for the first time, haha. I’ll join another time

I actually did not know that, it'd explain why my ping has been bad at times. Didn't think that playing while listening to music on Youtube would have affected the online connection on the PS4.
