You must lab... it's not easy, but with practice it is a very consistent punish whether a reborn cancel teleport or not.
Yeah no. We were promised a slower paced, more footsie based game and this character has a fullscreen mid launcher that can also be cancelled to be perfectly safe, completely ignoring most of the game itself, just no.You must lab... it's not easy, but with practice it is a very consistent punish whether a reborn cancel teleport or not.
I mean, alot of people are promised alot of things in life doesn't mean it happens... This is the way of the world, you gotta deal with the cards ur dealt. In real terms, If you want to counter him then lab it instead of getting wound up. His tele is perfectly counter-able if you make the effort rather than bitch...Yeah no. Lab and it would be quite fun...Of course you would feel this way if you didn't even try... people in the community told you something , and you just followed the opinion of the crowd like most, you sound defeated the way you're speaking , you don't even want to try..Ya I’m not labbing this garbage, I’m one and done with any scorpion player online. And it’s not like I lose every match against him, it’s just NOT FUN to play against considering the mostly neutral based toolkits of the majority of the cast. NRS makes some confusing character decisions when trying to please everyone.
because there's no other way to takeaway the part of the screen that tells you which record option it is going to playWhy is there a large piece of what appears to be aluminum foil on top of your television?
EDIT
Oh i see... lol i was so thrown off by it I couldn't scroll down before going "whatdafuq?"
with practice it is quite simple, but if you want to follow the crowd, that's fine. It's just a resource, take it or leave it.The spirit and intention MIGHT be all good, but in real matches you don't have the luxury of just knowing he is going to teleport and when or the follow ups is very different from when you do. These scenarios play out differently in real matches with a ton of omitted or missing variables at play.
I've definitely been hit by it a ton, but most online Scorp players are dying to use the ex tele every chance they get so its a patience game and with my character Noob saibot I have a guaranteed 33 -35 percent punish on any blocked ex tele.I mean, alot of people are promised alot of things in life doesn't mean it happens... This is the way of the world, you gotta deal with the cards ur dealt. In real terms, If you want to counter him then lab it instead of getting wound up. If they tele on reaction, you did something wrong. Such as starting a string while not in range. what you should be doing is doing a single part of the string for bait if they are doing that, and punish the -20 for full combonice, you need to lab your ass off and pull 2/3 frame punishes just to counter sh*tty scorpion players that do random teleports.
Then, you play against a decent player that just teleports on reaction and good luck trying to do anything
That's like just conceding to be pushed around by one stinkin move bro. Its so easy to blow up if you play right and bait it allllllllll Scorpions will eventually do it raw or as a fake out on a jump in.Ya I’m not labbing this garbage, I’m one and done with any scorpion player online. If you lab it you would. Crucify, that is...I mean guys the discussion shouldnt be is it punishable or not reliably (which I don't think it is in the heat of the moment) but should a move that launches anywhere on screen and can be used in the air even BE a tight punish.
You should be able to absolutely crucify scorpion if you block a teleport. The move is the Antichrist of neutral.
I missed, this, the tele cancel into throw was punished every time, as it was one of the recordings. tele cancel into anything would be punished. And while you could tel cancel into block (even though that can be punished too, why the eff would you purposely make yourself neg frames without reward? )What is even the option you're using when he teleport cancels on the other side? Why the crouch every single time?
Where's the teleport cancel into throw?
Teleport cancel into 2 and now Scorpion is +3?
Teleport cancel into walk back B1 whiff punish?
Teleport cancel into block and and now you're negative on block and Scorpion got in without playing neutral?
This is true. But practice does make perfect. 100% tele and amp tele is punishable whether in the heat of the moment or not. The tele cancel into throw punish on the other hand is around 80% for me right now, but this is only week 2..to be fair, punishing in the middle of back and forth match is a lot different than sitting in practice crouch blocking and knowing 1 of a certain set of options are going to be thrown at you
Dawg your tele cancel into throw recording neutral crouches for several frames before throwing...for someone trying to school everyone this is seriously wack.I missed, this, the tele cancel into throw was punished every time, as it was one of the recordings. tele cancel into anything would be punished. And while you could tel cancel into block (even though that can be punished too, why the eff would you purposely make yourself neg frames without reward? )
Being able to counter it doesn't mean I'm not going to say it's bullshit.I mean, alot of people are promised alot of things in life doesn't mean it happens... This is the way of the world, you gotta deal with the cards ur dealt. In real terms, If you want to counter him then lab it instead of getting wound up. His tele is perfectly counter-able if you make the effort rather than bitch...
I was literally about to say this exact same thing until I saw this post, exactly. The fact that it's punishable doesn't make a lick of difference with the absolute neutral control Scorpion exerts with this move.I mean guys the discussion shouldnt be is it punishable or not reliably (which I don't think it is in the heat of the moment) but should a move that launches anywhere on screen and can be used in the air even BE a tight punish.

Some of you guys are just guys are set in your ways, you don't even want to fucking try lol.A slight hesitation from being in "the heat of the moment" could cause this to fail miserably.
You have to account for human error. In a perfect environment, sure, this would be a lot more likely to occur often.
