One of Kung Laos variations spends all 3 points into the Orbital Hat. It costs 1 defensive bar and 1 offensive bar to leave you at -7 or give you a pop up on 1-2 strings that could already pop up with one bar from his Spin AMP. You can also use this move again to spin a second hat, leaving you at the same disadvantage but giving you a small amount of combo damage.
Unless I’m missing something this is dumbfounding that he was released this way. Seems like they literally put no effort into his variations. If their plan is to release a 3rd variation 2 months from now, they are going to have some issues.
Please netherrealm, make the ability slot limit 4-5 instead of 3 and give us custom variations. Or at least give every character one of these custom abilities baseline. I don’t want the character exploration to feel super shallow on an otherwise extremely well made and well rounded game.
