First complaint about the time it took to unlock cosmetics.
An outcry against greedy DLC practices while trying to sting NRS at the same time. You've been on this train for a while now, and it's starting to sound like you need to find better financial security and increase your happiness with your wallet a bit. I don't mind DLC practices because I know how much these games actually cost to produce. The tl;dr here is literally, you don't want to have to pay for cosmetics ever. Which is fine, you don't.
Pointlessly trying to compare MK11 to a mobile game again with their DLC policies when DLC predated "Mobile games" by which you refer specifically to those on phones not Nintendo's market I'm sure. So to recap: tl;dr = You don't want to have to pay for any cosmetics (You don't you can acquire them all in-game), and you're mad that to not pay for them you have to spend probably many hours to get what you want (You do).
Your accusation of NRS trying to sell their DLC like cell phone games do their microtransactions is irrelevant because in Inj2 they weren't predatory.
Yeah. As in: it wasn't even set what you'd unlock. IJ2's unlocks were -roll the dice and hope you get it- RNG shit that didn't even have a set time. You could get played for months. You weren't grinding. You were hoping to randomly acquire a piece. If there was some set objective, I'd fully understand your point. But that doesn't seem to be the case with NRS grinding.
And see, here are these dumb ass little jabs again. "Oh, you must not have the bank." If I have the bank to afford the 60 dollar game at launch, or to pay for the stupid online subscription, I have the bank to afford the ten dollar pack of "KRYSTALS" to get an item. It's the fact that we're paying five-ten bucks for a fucking color palette or a jacket that's making me laugh here, but sure. Please, tell me the cost of MKX. And then tell me how much it grossed. Do a fun little estimate of 60 x I don't know, 1000. Just go off that for now. Me saying "this is hella similar to a mobile game" is comparing it to shit that isn't of their own. Which funny enough, they seemed less greedy on their mobile games somehow than their core games. Ironically. I'm comparing it to shit like Future Fight and Contest Of Champions. Mainly because both of these Marvel games are what I have experience with. Where Contest has everything technically "free to play!" but you know damn well to get the things you want, you better have fun grinding endlessly, sometimes for no payout, or having to pay for the item itself. Same thing goes for Future Fight.
I'm going to have issues when these methods start transitioning over to games that already cost 60 dollars with season passes that cost how much. They're making their bank. Trying to justify this shitty practice only encourages these shitty practices. It's not about having the money. It's about saying "Yeah, NRS. This is completely okay." But you, who seem to work for NRS seems to think they need this extra bank which I'd love for you to tell me how they do.
