MK11 female designs are... extremely underwhelming

What do you think makes more sense to wear for a soldier fighter? Lingerie 1, lingerie 2 and lingerie 3...... or battle suit 1, battle suit 2 and battle suit 3?

Oh, my favorite thing is to speak about what makes sense in Mortal Kombat. Do you think it makes sense for Baraka to be shirtless and pantless? He could use a full plate armor too. Or do you think it makes sense for Skarlet to wear leather pants? Have you tried wearing those? Or do you think it makes sense for Jax who is a soldier too to wear a jacket on a naked torso? Or do you think it makes for an assassin like Jade to wear green and gold?
No, none of it makes sense. But it looks cool. You really wanna make Mortal Kombat a realistic game that makes sense? Well, good luck with that. Nobody is gonna play that cause it's gonna be boring. You can kill a person with a shot to the head, you know that? Fights would be hella quick in such game.
I can't believe I now need to explain to people that what's realistic and makes sense =/= something cool and fun.

You know what else is "classic"? Sub-Zero being a white Caucasian man. Do you also complain that Sub-Zero is now Asian?

Sub-Zero wasn't quite Caucasian. In the old timeline, he was half-Chinese and half-American. You probably confused him with Kitana that was assumed to be Caucasian, but well, she is actually Edenian in the lore so it's hard to tell how she should look like. Anyway, it's up to devs to retcon the lore and do whatever they want with it. That's not the point. The point is that people like classic outfits as they are part of the original trilogy and a huge nostalgia bomb for them. Are they supposed to not like those outfits anymore and not want them in the game cause they are what, not cool in 2019? Cause you think they look like "cheap gym suits"? Your attitude is ridiculous.

Jacqui's skins are alright. I think the NRS employees kinda overhyped them. Like 3 or 4 different employees had a little twitter convo about how she has the BEST skins in the game and how her skins made them want to play Jacqui. Her skins are kinda like Taco Bell lol.

I don't like what they did with the color selections. I felt like injustice 2 had a better selection of colors while mk11 just feels like a mish mash. I feel like injustice 2 customization might have been better overall. the only thing it didn't have are these nice intro, outro, and round victory choices

I actually really like the female costumes/designs so far. Pretty much every female character looks good, and has a lot of depth and personality. I think these are some of the most well developed female characters NRS has done.

I agree with you except for Cassie. Cassie's entire design is supposed to be over the top confidence and flamboyancy. It shines in her intros and outros and her Fatals as well as her FB and her between round taunt. She's a super fly idgaf hard hitting memelord bitchy brat that knows her genetics give her an edge on most people. She needs an outfit that reflects her "Lololol really?" side. Give her a halter top and a pair of pajama pants lmfao give her some pop in color. She's supposed to be a character, like her dad.

I've been pretty disappointed with Kitana's costumes admittedly. Not that they necessarily look bad, but I'm disappointed with the lack of variation. None of them really look THAT different from one another. Hopefully when DLC costumes come, they get a bit more creative with them.

Hmm, I agree on the SF girls, I think Kitana, Jade and D'Vorah look great though. The changes to the female designs aren't about maturity or practicality because we have a large number of shirtless men, so it's not that. For whatever reason they didn't like the overall sexualization of the female cast, it's a shame.

Real life MMH/UFC women outfit for fights: sneakers or foot straps, short spandex shorts, sports spandex top

MK 9 Sonya alternate outfit:-Undershirt, Military Hat, really short shorts, combat gloves, combat boots

MK 11 Skarlet attire: Leather from head to toe, leather flaps on the lower back hanging down to the cavs as well as very long on the front, leather pants, leather on the arms and heels

Yeah...I can totally see Skarlet's flaps being advantageous in a fight....
