I just wanna say that I love Hsu Hao. I love him the same way that I love a really cheesy B movie. He's just such a mess that he has some weird underdog ttpe of charm. I wanna see him do well simply because he won't.

The only interesting thing about Jaqui atm is her being a hightech character, which does her only good. Now if her character is more developed in the story, then she's gonna be settled. I'm sure if Hsu Hao was introduced in MK11 he'd be way different and not just a Kano rip-off. NRS is not Midway. They now actually fear for their asses and do work, they have to answer to Daddy WB where they're spending that dough

A couple of weeks ago I asked on a thread why people hated him. No one provided one single reason.

I don't think Hsu Hao is that bad, I personally find his overall design better than Ferra/Torr's for example.

He just comes from a time when it was harder to establish a personality (intro dialogues helped a lot with that) and became a meme.

He could be awsome if given a second chance with modern technology, and that's true for most 3D characters.

As of now yeah, I'll take him over Jaqui easily, since unlike him she failed despite having modern technology to back her up. Although maybe after MK11 I won't consider her as much of a tragedy as I do now. We'll see.

Of course almost all kharacters from the unfamous 3D era can be redeemed. Hsu Hao is one of them. I don't get the constant hate for him. To be honest I'd be positively surprised if I see him in MK11.
