My head instantly hurts....like this bitch needs this. AND read in the notes that Ivy's Summon Suffering i believe is now gonna be un-techable in the next update. LAWD!
I’ve never tried to tech after being hit by SS, but most Ivy’s I see use CS anyways. SS is only better because it’s unbreakable.

One of em isn't thats for sure cuz ive seen her special throw been teched before. So maybe both were meant to be teched. I dunno man....she strong as fuh
Calamity is techable forward, but you only have 4 frames to tech it. Summon Suffering is untechable, but slower and does less damage.

You're right though: Ivy's busted.

For anyone who plays Raphael out there, I just realized Yoshi's CE has enough recovery after you AE that you have time to 46B or 214B for a significantly bigger punish:
46B > 66B+K > AG K:K > 44B punish

214:B > 214:B punish

214:B > CE punish

You can also punish Yoshi's A A A+B with Raphael's AE for massive damage:

If you AE the 4th hit of A A A+B (the break attack hit) you just get AE B into iprep 6B for 42 damage (still a waste of meter for Yoshi).
I have a technical question.

Why is your Raphael wearing women's underwear?

Who da fuck said it was unviable? Man, stop reading into too much to my words, shit!

I'm just saying, it was unnecessary to make changes to GI. That's all.
It wasn't. A lot of low-mid level players were winning with GI and RE too easily.
At the higher levels it clearly doesn't matter because people aren't mashing those out.

Hold the Motorola phone....

In this update, we added moves other than the critical edge that can be used to finish off a soul charge and also restore health, expanding the strategic options for Kilik's soul charge. We also added an effect to his critical edge that restores health upon hit when not soul charged, enabling players to better determine how they use their health and soul gauge as resources.

He can fucking HEAL HIMSELF NOW!??! :DOGE:DOGE:DOGE:DOGE:DOGE:DOGE:DOGE:DOGE

As if Kilik needed another reason to use his CE besides the fact that it’s an 80 damage whiff punish, now it heals, too?

Also gave him this while Soul Charged

・Added the command "Soul's Balm", which ends a soul charge and restores health. Previously, the only way to put an end to his soul charge was to use the soul-charge-specific critical edge, but with this newly added option, players will be able use soul charges more strategically. 8 B+K

I just tested it and holy crap his SC 8 B+K is fast and it heals him for more than Tira’s Gloomy SC throw

... Aren't yours?
Goddamnit you stole my joke.

Some characters that are very safe can throw out GIs to immediately steal the opponent's turn, and mix that up by disrespecting their own frames. Scrubby as it might be, that's a legit strategy that only works because GIs are low risk / high reward.

They needed a nerf.

It doesn't impact your gameplay if you know what you're doing. Don't worry.
All it does is it stops scrubs from mashing RE / GI and easily winning over other scrubs.
Guess I'm a scrub then. Still beat you though.

This is a fucking problem....good lawd. Is it a throw or an attack? And if its an attack is it High, medium, or low?
It’s not an attack at all, it’s just like a soul charge activation almost, you can 3B someone as Kilik, do 8B+K and be recovered before they even hit the ground.

I found a quick video on it. It does look fast but it didnt show how much life he got back.

Well can you see which stages are bigger now?

The sand stage is definitely way bigger and that makes me happy since I play characters with pretty meh ring out games. I think they also changed Caer Morhen as well.
