EDIT: They didn't. I mean they did fix 1 out of 4 recurring hitbox issues, the one that was already supposed to be fixed since last patch.
I think they fixed some of Tira’s whiffing issues finally, but we’ll see. I’m confused why they basically reverted the changes to his Axe B+K instead of fixing literally any of his other problems that were caused by unnecessary nerfs. Apparently Mi-Na got buffed again even though this was supposed to be a nerf patch for her.

The Zas projectile is nuts, it curses on block, his Soul charge was already pretty good. The character just gets stronger and stronger. It honestly looks like everyone got buffed overall, since Mi-Na’s “Nerfs” ended up being a buff to her overall.

Not familiar with the Black Lagoon characters but she does give me some Laura Croft vibes but im digging it ;)

I gotta read all the notes but apparently they buffed Mina and its the move I use the most some im happy as fuck right now that people are salty about it :)

It's a really, really great anime.



It's basically about modern-day pirates, mafia stuff with the Russians and the Yakuza. It's pretty sweet.

Sweet, all the better to make them salty online. For some reason, I tried to play some ranked matches yesterday and I wasn't able to get matched and my connection was dropping. Not sure if this happened to anyone else or if it was just my internet acting wonky last night.

Maxi, my pocket, also got nerfed. His LO K seems to have less pushback, which was counted as a buff, but really isn't. Plus they nerfed the tracking of 6A+B, LI K and NG BB.

But hey my CE now does more damage if I achieve the unachievable LH conditions of B+K B B B A, so it's all good. Fuck this game.

I swear to god every single patch they nerf my characters and buff the top tiers, and without even fixing my broken hitboxes. MK11 can't come soon enough.

My playgroup is now joking that nobody wants me to pick up their main and the guy that taught me Maxi is cursing on me. Then this other guy just went "alright, here's the list of characters I want you to learn next".

I'm bloody cursed in this game, but at least we can joke about it.

GI was stronger than RE dude. It was very low risk / high reward and with safe characters such as Kilik it was/is an extreme annoyance.
Da fuck u mean? It didnt give you meter at all like RE did. And if you missed the GI then your guard meter is used up as a result of being unsuccessful. So there was a risk in just throwing it out at random. But NOW theres more of a risk because it will increase your guard break more

The following adjustments were made to further solidify guard impacts as a means of getting out of a tough situation by spending guard stamina to perform a powerful defensive move.
・Increased the amount of guard stamina used by guard impacts. Reverse impacts still use no guard stamina. ・Reduced the amount of guard stamina gained from successfully repelling an attack. The amount the soul gauge increases remains the same.
・The stun duration after failing to repel an attack has been increased by 4 frames. The following adjustments were made in addition to those listed above.
・Slightly adjusted the input window when trying to guard during the animation of a forward step to reduce cases where the input action will be treated as a guard.
・Fixed an issue in which players were unable to perform reverse impacts for the space of 2 frames while they were vulnerable after their attack was repelled by a guard impact. (The reverse impact window should have been the same as normal.)
・Shortened the duration of reverse impacts' defensive properties by 2 frames.

Yeah missing a GI added 5% (or maybe 10%, not sure) to your guard break. What a drawback! Oh no! So unviable! Come on man.

I think the use of GI vs RE really varies based on your character and who you play against, Nightmare and Raphael are going to get way more mileage out of RE than GI, but Astaroth and Mi-Na, who have slow REs are going to get more use out of GI.
