Tbf they said they increased the hitbox size of everyone’s 3B on an opponent who whiffed and yet Tira’s whiffs MORE post patch after she side steps an attack. Meanwhile, Yoshi’s 3BB hit me standing directly behind him going for a sidestep punish and killed me.
With Azwel they actually did a decent job with hitbox fixes, but there's still a lot of random whiffing.
I will say, Raphael must have Amy's hitbox or something because a lot of character specific combos people will say "does not work on Raphael" and then a bunch of female characters names. I feel the whiffing problem, Raphael's 44B if you decide to commit to such a slow, unsafe move or just use it in combos just randomly decides to completely phase through your opponent's legs and whiff; Raph's 2A also randomly just doesn't have a hitbox and goes through your opponent. It's fun

Lmao, I have before, the animation is hilarious. Any move that Raph has to dodge like 12 times is comical looking.
I didn't play SCV, but the OGs I play with told me that the mechanic itself wassn't too bad, but it was just way too easy to do. They even compared it to SC6's GIs, which makes sense.
SC6 GIs are very forgiving, it is a pretty good comparison to SCV perfect block, my problem with it was that unlike a GI it’s just free damage. Could you imagine like Gloomy Tira blocking a safe move you do and getting a free launch off it?
That sounds quite bad, and MK11's flawless block doesn't look much different. Hopefully they'll fix it.
I think the drastically reduced chip should be enough of a reward tbh or just make it where you can only do the invincible move off the flawless block is all.
