You've been given a high res version of the picture where you can see all the tribal stuff from Shao Kahn, the nose piercing, the paints, the aztek style clothes... yet you insist no one gave a constructive response, but you coming in insulting people intelligence (while they're not even wrong) apparently is super constructive, and the whole TYM is now a toxic forum but the only one actually insulting everyone somehow is an avatar of purity.

That model is rigged like Liu's as a placeholder while they create its own animation. It might even have its size (we don't really have a point of reference to compare) and body type while defining Kotal's (and a lot of MK character's share body type, A LOT), but all the items, clothes, textures, etc... are Kotal. All of them. Have you seen the youtube videos where modders take different characters and give them the animations of others and they actually look natural beheaving like others?

Also what hair? How does them sharing a similar basic body sculpt and model viewer stance completely make it NOT Kotal to the point where any body who believes so must be an idiot? Similar/same body structure model and screen view animation? Oh yeah. If it's not the same it is damn close. But NOT being an early Kotal but simply an ALT Skin for Liu Kang? Extremely unlikely. True, but I think both are unlikely. BUT, I think it may just be fake all together, as that seems more likely than either to me. At least in a vacuum without knowing NRS as a very unorthodox company.

A couple of NRS Devs DaanishSyed and Grey Meta have liked a couple tweets regarding the Leak by Ketchup and Mustard who basically said they think the leak is super shitty and that the person should be punished blahblahblah.

Daanish even retweeting Maximilian Dood's tweet where he says he's not going to talk about the leaks.

The leak is 100% legit.

Given that its taken from an Alpha build it's likely there's a generic male stance or what have you until design on the character is completed etc....but that design of that specefic character is clearly Aztec, and Kotal is our Aztec character.

I'm not sure why your panties are in such a twist about this, or what you're even trying to prove, lol.

If it was a "generic male model", both models wouldn't have Liu Kang's hair, shoes, gauntlets, etc. Like it's actually Liu's, not Prototype A. So you could say they used Liu's model for Kotal in early development, but it is Liu in those pics.

The way Maximilian said it I can respect. He said the way the leaks came out, someone working there purposefully sharing them, sat with him the wrong way. It's not like the Steam leaks where it was unintentional.

Everyone else and their mother is making videos about the leaks anyway. So it doesn't really matter if he talks about them or not.

As long as we have top quality content creators like Dynasty and Super we don't really need Max talking about it too.

I'm kind of restating what I said earlier in this thread, but there is a character select screen portrait for Kotal Kahn in this build. I'm asuming that if they used his model for that, then it should be in this version of the game.
