and are perhaps annoyed with Brie's bs agenda
You keep talking about her "bs agenda" yet you never seem to actually define it. I'd suggest looking at what she actually said, because it sounds like wherever or whoever you're getting your information from is reaching for a subtext which just isn't there.

@Krankk I agree with you both, and this is honestly WHY I hate RT, it's all PC, biased bs with them.... that alone proves they're not only biased but support her crazy agenda, I refuse to see that movie because of her shitty attitude and her trying to project herself on everyone. I also read a story few weeks back, that a fan asked her out and she was "offended by a random man asking her out" she deemed it "creepy" there's this chick on YT called Star Wars girl, she broke it down perfectly. Like she's obviously the type that thinks she's better than everyone else and I can't stand people like that. Besides, we all know Captain Marvel won't have shit on WW....I felt WW did it properly, a way to show female heroines and power but Gal wasn't obnoxious about it you know? That and she actually looks like the comic book character(though some of the SJW'S/feminazis felt her outfit was "objectifying women")

BTW here's that vid I was talking about I think you'll both be intrigued, btw Krannk I agree on that point with having your art censored, I am also an artist who paints, sculpts from time to time and I have submitted some art before on sites and been rejected for "not being appropriate" whatever that means, not like I drew or painted porn but MK inspired gore and such. lol.

Also, apparently Marvel is refusing to refund people for this movie..... yet the movie isn't out yet.
I love SW girl! And yeah, I agree with you. I mean if anything women are way more privileged than men and especially when Brie made that comment about feeling harassed when a dude asked her number is ridiculous. She IS a rich, white, straight, female. She is the embodiment of privilege yet she still claims women have no power or say in society.

Stop talking about Brie Larson, as if anything she says matters. She is an actress with less looks than Derek Zoolander. She was completely miscast as Captain Marvel.

If anyone deserved that role, then it was Emily Blunt (who played a complete badass soldier in 'Edge of Tomorrow'):

That's a good point Krank, yeah I kind am sorry for elaborating on the topic now(I had only mentioned Brie since she was already mentioned here by others) but anyway I agree, Blunt would have been better not to mention a much better actress.

@Vslayer nice, so you know her huh? I just found her few months back, hopefully she's not censored or anything. Yes, yes and YES! Thank you!! There is hope in this world afterall! lol. One of my closest friends said the same thing and he LOVE Marvel movies like 10x more than DC, even he was like "yeah I'm going to pass on this movie" You know what I find hilarious as well, when DC films get trashed it's perfectly fine lol but when a Marvel movie that happens to star a female heroine gets bad reviews "OMG we must censor the internet trolls, the haters!!" lmao....

I did look lol, have you man? Ok, I'll be brief with it. Her going on about how women are "oppressed" in 2019? Need more diversity? Again in 2019? Projecting her feminist agenda onto people as a crutch to go see her movie? You know Gal Gadot didn't do this with WW right? Just watch this guy, it'll save me a lot of time typing as he explains why people have issues with her and the movie.

To be fair, Brie should be attacking the people who make movies, they're the ones who chose if a character is male or female, or if they're black and white. They're the ones not representing these people enough. But, her PR team decided to let her attack the fans that have nothing to do with it because, as I said before, fans LOVE female leads, and people of all races, as long as it's entertaining.

Exactly ^ this X 1 million. Brie needs to take a page out of Gal Gadot's book seriously, she could learn a thing or two from her.

YES. Blunt is amazing. Also that chin dimple tho.

They should have given the role to Rachel Skarsten dude. She does badass perfectly and she isn't a total shit IRL. And she's Canadian so points for that :p

Where did she attack the fans? Her quote was about critics, and at the industry, in particular in response to reviewers, not fans in general.

Where is she claiming this?
Dude I showed you a quote where she said that women are tossed aside and not included in the industry and that fans are asking themselves if 'women can exist in the world'. Unless she meant the industry, but it sounds to me like she was talking about the people criticizing her, so the fans.

Someone already pointed out to your that your understanding of that quote was incorrect, back on page 6.

Brie was, in fact, saying the same thing you criticized her for. Women have been carrying lead film roles for a long time, yet despite that there is still all this shit out there in the film industry about whether a female led superhero action movie would work, and how the stakes are so high for Marvel because it is a female lead movie.

The whole discussion is about the movie industry and the media that covers it. She didn't say one word about the fans in that quote.

If you read the rest of the Hollywood Report article, you get much better context for what and who she's talking about.

"Yes, she is playing the title role in the more than $150 million Captain Marvel, the 21st movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and first ever from the wildly successful Disney division to be fronted by a woman. But, three years after she won an Oscar for her performance in the indie drama Room, the 29-year-old actress is confident enough to reject your media narrative about box office stakes and the fate of women and blah blah blah because Larson has read this story before and she knows how it ends.

"There's this sense of setting this thing up," Larson says. "I know it's exciting and fun to be like, 'Will it sink or will it float?' 'What's going to happen?' 'Can women exist in the world?' 'We're not sure yet!' But women have been opening movies since the silent era. We have been part of every major art movement. People just push us away once the movement gains momentum and act like we were never really there.""

She's talking about the media narrative, not about fans. Again, she's going after the industry with her comments.

Gadot is a class act. Remember that interview where the dude who plays Flash asked her to say 'smash the heteronormative patriarchy' and she changed it to 'smash misogyny'. I fell in love right then and there.

Okay, that makes sense.

I do agree that she is getting criticized for ridiculous things, like the whole thing with her pushing the Jeep, which I defended her for. I also don't think it's fair that people bash a movie they haven't seen yet, which is why I'll definitely go see it. But what irks me is when she said that she was oppressed because a dude asked her number, when she is one of the most privileged people on this planet.

She didn't say she was oppressed, she brought it up as an example of harrassment. She was polite and smiled at a guy, so he asks for her number? She wasn't making a big deal out of it, just giving an everyday example with stuff that some women have to deal with.

She also even mentions in an interview that she herself is extremely privalged, which is why she's trying to use her privlage to speak out about these things, to try and help people who are less priveleged.

Also note that it was a TSA agent in an airport, a fact that conveniently gets left out when people get mad about what she said. Wasn't just some guy taking initiative in a bar.

But it's not something that's hard to deal with? And it's not harassment? You politely decline and move TF on.

Good, I didn't watch that interview but I respect her a lot more for saying that.

You're sort of talking past me/Marlow, as well as Brie herself.

The point she's trying to make is about how this is something daily you have to think about and deal with as a woman. She did nothing but be polite and smile and gets that in a totally inappropriate place, making her feel a little uncomfortable.

I'm sure she did say "no, thank you." But that's not really the point?

I've gotten way derailed here though so this is probably my last post on the topic.

They should look more realistic, it’s a fighting game. Not a how long you can last game.

With how realistic the graphics are getting it would look ridiculous to have the females in dental floss outifits.

And Dvorah is basically fully nude so there you go.

It's not harassment for someone to ask someone else out. It's how the rules of nature work lol. Guys chase the girl, kind of been going on for centuries now. But some people think they're above others if that offends them. To me that's like guys complaining about having to lift heavy shit daily and getting hit in the balls hurts like a mofo. It's shit we have to deal with, that's life.

To be fair, D'Vorah isn't even human lol but I agree, people who go nuts either way "must be half naked" or "omg objectifying women" need to get a life, it's a game.
