Lol yeah but Johnny and Cassie had the same shit and was powerful enough to deflect elder jizzum. And I was reminded that nightwolf has the same green shield power. Would be cool if they are all tied together somehow.

Jade is clearly favored by the gods going by the endings and nightwolf is a modern day saint that can’t even enter the Netherrealm even if he wanted to. I dunno, just a thought I had.

I always had a headcanon theory that Jade, Cage, Nightwolf and later Shao Kahn tapped into the same type of power for those green moves. I know its probably just coincidence but it would be cool if it was some sort of universal power anybody could tap into with training/knowledge. Like the MK equivalent of Ki/Chi or something.

Why is it so important that they're not hot when they have the technology to make great looking player models? In this day and age, especially for a video game, if you're cranking out fugly models you're not trying. Even if they don't fix her face, I'll still play her she's my girl and obviously what's important is the gameplay - but having her look hot and badass like in MKX is still something most people want for their favorite characters. It's not about being able to fap to them or some bullcrap about it being softcore porn, and if people truly play games for that they got issues, it's about looking at something shiny and pretty and whether you like it or not all humans are wired that way.

I don't think she's "fugly" though. Just because she doesn't look like a supermodel doesn't mean she's ugly. Do some screen shots look unflattering? Sure, but that's screenshots for you. You can make any character look bad by cherry picking a screen shot and blowing it up out of proportion.

Personally, I find that when games go out of their way to make every character look like a supermodel it comes off as superficial. I think how a character looks matters, but I don't think attractiveness matters that much, at least when it comes to designing characters with depth. If that makes sense.

Eh, lots of characters before Cassie had green. Ermac also had green effects for his stuff, Shinnok, Reptile, etc. So why pick on Jade? If anything Cassie should change colors.

It's why I want her to stand out and be more unique.

It wouldn't make sense for Cassie to change her green halo, as she gets it from her father who's had it since the first game. I mean, they made a whole thing out of it in the MKX story!

Considering Jade has her staff and razorrang have the purple glow/trail, and her energy glow in MK9 turned purple when doing the enhanced version of her moves, it would be an easier and more believable transition for her. Especially since both Cassie and Johnny seem to be on the roster as well.

Eh, like I said, other characters also have green effects. I don't see any reason why Jade can't too.
